1.
Please, don't try to lecture a FAN member on how it is not possible to "kill someone". You have no idea child. While it's not possible to kill someone, It is possible to make someone wish they were dead.
You are very true. In fact, I wish I were dead due to the absurdity of many of the opposing arguments. I am so saddened and disturbed by them that I may not sleep tonight due to the mind-boggling aspects of some of these hopefully joking arguments.
  2.
The difference being you were the bully in the past. You should have apologized, in an honest and forthcoming way, rather than let the hate fester. Instead you wasted time on alliances like IAA apparently. You clearly didn't want to resolve the most important scars of the past well enough, and this is the result. Anything is possible with diplomacy, anything. If you were unsuccessful in your effort, you just weren't trying hard enough.
Did you ever stop to think that maybe NPO was going chronologically in dealing with its past "scars"? And that by being involved in a war against them recently, you had moved to the back of the line? It could have been a simple misunderstanding but DH had to go and blow it out of proportion by unilaterally declaring war without attempting what you so wish had happened earlier. And that is diplomacy. Second, thanks for revealing your views on IAA.
  3.
Fact of the matter is that they don't have the power to start wars nor do they have the ability to blockade spheres, because to do so would be to violate the karma peace terms. Even if they had changed, they have shown no remorse for their actions, and that's what leads me to believe that they have not. All you're saying is that because they have not done things they could not have done in the first place, that means they have changed. If NPO really had changed they had plenty of time to show it. If they have truly "changed", allow me to express my sympathies to the innocent Pacificans I am slaughtering because of the apparent incompetence of their government in defining their alliance, putting old hates to rest and resolving issues that still lurk. Diplomacy matters, to ignore the world outside your immediate allies is to invite destruction. To ignore the wounds of old and write off the victims is a sure-fire way to ensure that if they're able to take the shot, they'll take it.
They weren't and that's my problem with your lies. NPO has reached out to alliances they wronged and they were attempting to open up a friendly dialogue. Now, they might not have attempted to be best friends with their recent enemies, but can you really blame them? You and your allies have made it abundantly clear that you viewed, and still view, NPO as a scourge. Why would they bother attempting to reconcile with people that were so adamantly anti-Pacifica?
  4.
TPF had been mobilizing significantly and NPO had sent significant numbers into pm long before the preemptive strike. If they were completely intent on staying out and not "keeping their options open", they could have just as easily posted a DoN.
That's horrible logic. I haven't been completely focused on politics for quite awhile and I KNEW this was going to happen. IT was only a matter of time with how things were progressing. I would have been aware of the possibility of this happening and I'm sure NPO wanted to take as many precautions as possible.
  5.
Even if they didn't want to ditch their dead weight allies they still could have attempted to secure their position by erasing the hate caused by their actions. Tell me Tyga, how many diplomats do you think NPO sent to FAN? Do you think NPO ever even so much as attempted to apologize for their transgressions against MK? To ignore the past and allow hate to fester is nigh suicidal for any alliance. It's far easier to forge a new future if you are not restrained by your past.
I can vouch that NPO came to IAA to make amends and attempted to normalize diplomatic relations. As for FAN and MK, why would they go groveling so soon after a war. We both know that we'd then be hearing about how NPO was making false overtures in an attempt to destabilize those alliances for revenge or some such nonsense. Neither FAN nor MK are reasonable targets for attempts diplomacy so soon after the major conflict between those parties. With the amount of bad blood between NPO and some alliances, the mere attempt to attempt diplomacy would be laughed at and likely mocked or viewed in a negative light. It's foolish to attempt to use this rationale for your blatantly aggressive actions against an alliance that certainly appeared to have turned over a new leaf.

    Bye CN

apriland, you helped me through a tough time and I just wanted to thank you one last time. You're a genuinely good person and I hope you have fun in RL. I'm sad to see you go but have fun.
  7. Tyga, we haven't always seen eye to eye and it pains me somewhat to say this but, I agree with you on this issue. I expect the people of Planet Bob to see more condemnations. This treachery will not be rewarded but punished. With their evil, the barbarians have sown the seeds of their destruction.
  8.
Welcome, o Doomhouse and NPO, to this rock-opera of a war. Love your woman. Honor the admin. Defend your alliance. Good luck to everyone and let there be no flaming or whining on the OWF. Don't worry about your infra: everyone will lose a great deal of it. Anyone who stays in peace mode through this thing will be forever a coward, regardless of what they do in the future. On another note, I think this is a chance for many alliances to rethink their position on Planet Bob. Be warned that if you fight those who fight NpO/NPO and their auxiliaries, you are on their side whether you intended it to be that way or not. I hope to see some white peace treaties in the near future.
Should the other alliances on Planet Bob consider that a threat because it seems like a threat to me. Good to see the new lows keep on coming. Congratulations CN
  9.
I still can't wrap my head around someone calling us cowardly in a declaration of war. Someone explain it to me, seriously.
I called you cowards because you are scared of losing your power to Pacifica and need to preemptively hit them. The same behavior that was reprehensible not so long ago. sorry if you couldn't see that. If you have more questions, feel free to send a message.
  10. Finally, the hypocrites have shown their true color: yellow. How disappointing that all of the rhetoric was a lie. You should all be ashamed of yourselves for all the lies. I hope you glow green and are reduced to ashes.
  11.
Care to point out where he said that? In all the logs I've seen he was saying pretty close to the opposite.
It was a joke; however it would still have made a poignant analogy. Sorry to have confused you and no offense meant to Xiph.
  12.
Once again, your argument is "Dajobo can't have wanted to spy on VE because he said so!" I, if you bothered to notice, never said anything about what Dajobo did or didn't intend to do. I am simply pointing out a simple fallacy to a single argument that you have repeated endlessly. When I look at the Dajobo-Lennox logs I see what looks to me like Dajobo setting up a spy while using doublespeak to maintain official deniability. When you look at them you see Dajobo joking around and making friendly suggestions. The interpretation simply depends on how much you trust Dajobo's integrity. Given that he's high gov in Polar, I trust him about as far as I can throw him. Also, there's no evidence whatsoever that Xiphosis or Sera were involved in the inciting incident of this war. The only logs relating to Xiph at all are when he was giving his frank advice to Impero, an allied leader.
Was the frank advice Xiph saying that VE should attack NpO? If so, by analogy, that's an order to attack. Not merely his opinion because he's high government member that someone might not trust. Just saying.
  13. No matter how many times we put forth facts, they'll keep printing the legend. The lack of ability to admit poor judgment is amazing but not surprising.
  14.
It's like you guys don't even try to read. Right out of the DoW: MHA 'aren't the enemy' and 'not worth spying on' – go spy on MK or VE instead. That is, Dajobo sent the spy (Lennox/Chancy) to MK or VE. That is really the core of the CB, all this thread and RV's are about is getting conclusive proof that it really was Dajobo doing that. Edit: Kilkenny, one might argue that MK has a CB too, but the spy chose VE over MK of the two choices Dajobo gave him, so no spying on MK was ever actually done (at least by Lennox), so it isn't as strong as ours.
First, I have to point out how laughable the underlined conclusion is. This is horrendously bad logic and most of you should be ashamed of yourselves for pushing this garbage. to recap:
20:33 Chancy I should spy on MHA 20:33 Chancy Just to make them mad 20:33 Dajobo|NpO| nah they aren't the enemy 20:34 Dajobo|NpO| pick domeone worth spying on 20:35 Chancy Give me suggestions 20:36 Dajobo|NpO| VE or MK are the two who are heavily involved in world politics 20:36 Dajobo|NpO| anything that happens will come through them first
This so-called "spy" is asking for suggestions on who to spy from the supposed "ringleader?" That's a new one and to claim straight-faced that Dajobo SENT him to spy on VE or MK is laughable. Seriously, you, and you know who you are, should be laughed at for coming up with something so pathetic. At best, that's conspiracy to commit espionage but I still fail to see any serious intent on the part of Dajobo to actually commit espionage. I look around at the world and weep when I see how far Planet Bob have fallen. How hollow promises of change have been forgotten and replaced by a tyranny that is what was "wrong" and fought not so long ago. There is no sliding scale for injustice. There is only shallow people and their petty grudges. I would have hoped that the people of Bob would have held true to their supposed convictions and remained vigilant against "tyranny;" now I clearly see that it was all a lie and propaganda. I hope everyone enjoys another stomp based on a flimsy CB. It's amazing how things change and still remain the same.
