  1. If that dude happened to be elected secretary general on a platform of "let's invade north america" and they could have managed the boat ride as easy as selecting an option from a drop down box.
  2. The campaign itself painted returning to blue as part of a revenge plan against Polar. Even if they believed themselves technically not to have broken terms, they certainly voted on what was considered by them to be an act of hostility.
  3. how exactly did we make up NADC's internal election campaign?
  4. No one in Oculus made the contention that it was a good plan with a strong chance of success that was led well in some way. But nice straw man.
  5. Yeah Polar, you're dispatching threats to yourself instead of waiting for them to attack in October. You've changed.
  6. "It wasn't a secret plan, it was a totally nonsecret plan we voted in favor of as an alliance" is definitely one of the more interesting denials we've seen around here lately. Kudos for providing some variety.
  7. It's not OPSEC, but if Polaris's people saw it, it has the potential to be problematic.
  8. When it comes to elections I always vote Grub. It avoids these misunderstandings and I know I'm getting strong, stable leadership for a brighter future. And I don't want to provoke Polaris, that might not be smart right now.
  9. The proof would suggest that it's a part but I imagine they'll be along to deny it shortly.
  10. I fail to see anything hostile RIA's done in this and am not sure why this conspiracy theory that they're at the bottom of it has developed. Does someone have proof of their involvement?
  11. Working off people's internal senses of faux morality and threatening PZI if it didn't work.
  12. No, it was less to do with the GRL and more a successful campaign by the larger side to criminalize their use at the expense of the losing sides that could have inflicted more damage if they'd used them.
  13. what do you mean not going to do anything about it? they condemned it in no uncertain terms!
  14. Yeah I hate it when NPO doesn't rat out third parties that contacted other third parties so that NPO's enemies can punish the third parties that contacted other third parties that contacted NPO. Real jerks, those guys.
  15. I'm sure we were all thisclose to future treaties with TTK. The alliance whose own government doesn't communicate with itself if the moral posturing in this thread is to be believed. Whatever will we do now that that avenue has been closed to us?
  16. Of course we never alerted TTK government that TTK government is embroiled in a conspiracy to attack us before we took action. That would be ludicrous - your crummy opsec does not necessitate all others having abysmal opsec. It's your responsibility to keep your own house in order and not ours to go around soliciting lies from your less active government members that may or may not be aware of what the others are doing.
  17. This idea that we're supposed to cough up sources inside an ongoing conspiracy and do your own internal policing for you is silly as all get out. This idea that any of us owes any of you anything is foolishness.
  18. Maybe alliances that don't want to become targets shouldn't have people conducting their alliance business that can't be bothered to conceal their intentions with a little basic operational security procedure.
  19. If you're not in communication with your government and how it's conducting its affairs, that's hardly on us. They've been more than forthcoming with more than a few others about their intentions.
  20. The utter senselessness of the action does nothing to negate it having occurred. Not sure why anyone would have considered that a clever point.
  21. This is why we need a more formal process for deciding who can plot against us. It's not fair that all the folks that have done so thusfar have sucked.
  22. I have no wish to belabor the topic as I consider this having been necessary to be quite silly in the first place, but there's no need for conspiracy theories. I am as good as my word.
  23. It seems there has been a misunderstanding in some quarters and in the interests of allaying fears and in a show of good faith, it should be understood among specifically those who conspired but have to this point come clean about their intentions and revealed the involvement of others do not have to fear reprisal on their alliances for having been involved in the conspiracy at a future date. Furthermore, your identities will be protected. You may go in peace.
  24. I'm sure TTK's co-conspirators and other allies will be along shortly to narrow the odds if this is a true concern of theirs.
