  1. I more than enough figured it out from a technical point of view - it's actually very basic stuff - although admittedly the point of what goes on it still eludes me.
  2. With Polaris declaring war against the DBDC the BiPolar 2 name really takes off.
  3. If this isn't in Sponge's and Grub's style I don't know what is it.
  4. Hey JM, nice to see you still around here. 🙂 If only I knew what you two are talking of... I'm almost tempted to take Gopher's advice (was it him?) and start to troll you NGers with fake applications. I'm neutral about hurt feelings, so, well...
  5. An evergreen classic! (Both the concept, and you.)
  6. I offer The Split War. If I have to explain it it's probably at least as bad as I think it is...
  7. The Amazon's adaptation of the graphic novel. To condense it in a few words (probably doing it some injustice), it's super heroes porn. AFAIK it aired when the war started. I think it's a terrible name for this war as there's no link or parallelism with CN stuff, many of those supporting it probably do so mostly because they feel it's provocative and/or inappropriate. (And yes, I know that some material related to it has been discord'd, but that was after the fact, so to speak.) (I'll here go out on a limb to say that, to me, it very much feels like something that's as old as - at least - the Mushroom Kingdom's subculture: attempts to be "controversial" that, unknowingly, materialize in the form of conformism and bigotry. Wannabe anti conformism, in short.)
  8. I for one welcome the return of the original wielder of the "also hello". I'm neutral on the rest (have fun and keep it nice).
  9. This made me chuckle. 😅 Historically the GPA has always had something like a soft spot for VE, and there hasn't been the slightest trace of an issue with the CCC, ever. Tough choice. If I bothered to fire up my PC I might send both of them some old fashioned flower pr0n, but it's highly unlikely. (I almost never turn it on anymore, and I'm on vacancy at the beach, anyway.) In my case it was to retire, which I ended up didn't quite doing (not as I had imagined it, anyway), although by now I can say it's been a slow descent into minimal activity. As far as I can tell, for most it's a preference for building stuff rather than blowing it up. As a personal note I'll add that I've been born with a Heart of Gold full of love for everyone. I consider it a duty to love at least twice a day rogues and attackers too (I usually do it before and after nuking them). It's amazing to see you back here, ES, do you plan to actually stay?
  10. Hello everyone. There's been some outside speculation about the GPA stance on the current <insert name here> (global) war. Of course, after sixteen years of persistent and consistent, strict neutrality, inside the GPA there's absolutely no doubt on our stance on such situations. They do regard us - we too are part of this world, after all - they are our business too, as armed conflict among our neighbors, sometimes our friends, can't leave us indifferent. Those of us that still pay attention to anything are watching this situation. Eons ago our founding fathers and mothers firmly rooted the Agency's culture in political and military neutrality. Our foreign affairs are built on our ancient, and still very relevant and important (to us, at least) Declaration of Neutrality. Whenever you people find yourselves in the fog of war there's, always, at least one fact you can take for granted: the GPA will not get herself involved into it. This is the case, too. The GPA is and will remain neutral throughout this conflict. I extend my personal best wishes to everyone involved. Keep it funny, keep it light, have a good time. /s/ jerdge, GPA Triumvir of the Interior
  11. "Unwarranted attack" because VE's reasons are considered invalid, or is it just random rhetoric?
  12. While certainly bad - and I mean actually good as in actually really bad - those lyrics can't by any stretch of imagination compete with true Vogon poetry.
  13. Good luck to Polaris's community for its moving forward. How long has Sponge been away? (For the record I blame Random, anyway. 😜)
  14. Of course you're right, I was addressing the joke about it being something peaceful developed nations could be envious of. (Although, optimization maniacs...) If I can lend an opinion, make your choices and stick to them even when it means to be labelled a rogue, but don't ever go "proper" rogue. It's been overused since at least 2008. Be original, be you.
  15. I'm not fond of having to point it out in a thread in which someone displays their satisfaction for having them, but 3 millions per day is not that much for a well developed nation, it isn't a game changer. (I for one will never get to spend all the money I have in the treasury.) Good for Lyanna and whoever else will get there (me included). I don't get your attitude: she's evidently happy of it and her time is hers to spend, why do you care that much? Maybe it's just spending time in a silly game, it's still infinitely better than trying (and failing) to mock another player for it.
  16. You didn't miss a day, did you? I'll get there too, but I'm still way behind. Not that I'll have anything to do with another 3 millions per day. Also congrats.
  17. I watched it, I'm happy I did, I don't feel the need to watch it again though. Is it good or bad?
  18. Thank you. Organized spamming another group's off game resource with any kind of material purposely designed to offend is stupid and bad form. Then there's the really nasty stuff, which is different from people joining what they perceive as an occasion for fun and humour, but the latter can degenerate into the former, it's skating on thin ice. (I don't know what happened in this case.) How about people always remain kind and considerate off game? Wild idea, I know.
  19. I like it when people's posts validate the idea I have of them. Classy, Lyanna. 👍
