  1. Oh but I would never claim that you are the bad guy in this unfortunate scenario. You are part of an opportunistic, hegemonic entity that has a fundamental misunderstanding of the impact of its actions on its long-term viability. There is nothing inherently evil or good about that: It merely is. I find it telling however that you would place yourself in the category of 'bad'. Word choice often betrays desires, fears and guilt. Word choice subconsciously weaves emotion into debate, and one can often learn more from this, than from the argument itself. Tell me, Jrenster the Careless of the Caring Pacificans- why is it that you consider your empire to be the 'bad guys'? Is it a desire for you to be labeled as such, or is it borne out of guilt over the forced disbandments you have pushed, and the wars of annihilation you have waged? I must graciously decline your offer to be in charge of your PR- it would be unwise to take over the PR of a declining empire. It would provide me with none of the boons, yet all of the hardship of witnessing the inevitable fall. I wish you the best of luck though.
  2. We are happy to be of service in educating you on your own actions. It is truly a sad state of being when the leg kicks, but the brain does not register. That state of affairs does support my previously iterated theory about the imminent fall of your empire however. Decline and inefficiency tends to kick in at the tail-end of the lifespan of any entity.
  3. The confounding philosophical dilemma lies in discerning whether you are deliberately obfuscating the inherent cause-effect relationship between your presentation of your actions, and the perception the public has of your actions, or whether you simply do not have a proper understanding of such causuality.
  4. Ah. The callout and the sidestep. The pivot after the stab. The twist and the turn. Well done my friend. You learn fast. Why is it that you refuse to engage with me in meaningful discussion? Is it not debate that allows for the hearts and minds of the world to be swayed? I would suppose that you are correct: The Samurai Division of the Pacifican Empire can theoretically speaking be considered a part of your domain, for it is free will they lack. I have been thought to call a spade a spade, and a puppet a puppet.
  5. Jrenster; Propaganda tool of the Pacifican Powermonger- it appears that your friend has yet to receive your cue to dial down and support your arguments. It is quite contradictory and confusing for the outsider looking in, to see you both denounce and embrace your oppressive nature. I would therefore be appreciative if you could shed some light upon this.
  6. Is the core principle outlandish, or do you find the core principle outlandish? The world may decide. Doesn't it need to be addressed, or do you believe that it should not be addressed because it contradicts your manually created reality? You read my words, but did you get the message? Perception is key in all interactions. Your weak-minded attempts at forcefeeding your biased viewpoints upon this world as being the one and only truth are transparent at best. It is not the way to engage in intellectual enrichment. It is not the way to bind followers to your side. Will you resort to violence, now that verbal diarrhea does not suffice? Shall I be taken down the path of so many others- a martyr to my cause? The theme and makeup of the oculus oppression is suspicious at best. It shows either a clear disregard for the PR ramifications of your positioning- which in turn points towards an inherent incompetence apparent to all who open their eyes-, or it falls entirely within the picture I aptly described in my previous post. I would ask you to prove to me the contrary, my young but volatile student- prove to me that you are a benevolent hegemon, that the disbandments were coincidental. That the annihilation of the various parties you have crossed paths with was warranted. That you had no choice, for diplomacy was exhausted. Change my perception, and set your first step towards a secure tomorrow.
  7. There is no better or worse when assessing the human race. There is only differences. Fundamental differences in behavior and ability. None better than the other. It is faux claims of superiority that often invite conflict upon conflict. The cleansing of alliances such as the honorable TPF and STA - blessed be their souls - could not and would not have occurred if equality had been on the forefront of your mind. Yet you choose to follow the path of the bigot. The path of the oppressor. The path of the weak. For true strength lies in the character that refuses to fall for the temptations of judgement. . But alas it shall be too late. The judgemental shall be judged. And all shall be right once more. Repent, or share their fate.
  8. Those who claim brevity to be the soul of wit state so not because there is an inherent truth to their claim. Rather, they lack the attention span to properly conclude a reading, and thus find themselves searching for answers to unfinished questions. They read the words but miss the message, and in the process prove themselves a fool.
  9. Diplomacy 1. the conduct by government officials of negotiations and other relationsbetween nations. 2. the art or science of conducting such negotiations. 3. skill in managing negotiations, handling people, etc., so that there islittle or no ill will; tact: Oh Auctor, Weak-willed prince of the Samurai Division of the Pacifican Tyrant, heed me now. Diplomacy as defined above consists of negotiations in good faith. Of handling external personas in a manner that prevents the culmination of ill will. It requires tact and mercy. It requires compromise. The pretense lies in your charade of benevolence. There is no grace in such deceitful antics as what you and yours have displayed. Your diplomacy runs akin to the man who shakes ones hand only to pull him in reach of the knife in his other hand. Your rogue diplomacy is but another tool for the submission of foreign entities. Your twisted perspective on peace dictates that peace is but the interim between your selfproclaimed holy wars. You serve no cause greater than your own ego's enrichment. And woe to the orator who calls you on your atrocities. For he must be lunacy incarnate! Look around you, Weasel Warrior of the Worst Hegemony since SuperGrievances, and ponder upon the sustainability of your insolence. When the walls close around you, shall there be the kitchen boy reaching out to pull you to safety? Or does the kitchen boy lie murdered in his sleep for your entertainment- convicted for transgressions not his own? But I am here to tell you, that you need not not continue your slow political seppuku. Drop your banner and flee your affiliations. Before the people rise, thus I decree.
  10. Ah, the pondering continues. The mere symbolism utilized in the creation of the Oculus brand signifies the aforementioned worldview. The oculus by virtue of its round design is representative of the 'inner circle' mechanics of this powerbloc. Were the scope smaller and the context more secretive, one may have attributed an illuminati-like vibe to the brand. The sheer power and profile of the individual entities which make up this grouping make this an unrealistic interpretation however. Instead, the Circle represents the inherently aggressive and oppressive 'if you are not with us, you are against us' attitude of the Oculus grouping. Those within the circle shall find themselves a safe haven, protection and prosperity. Those who unlucky enough not to be selected by the privileged shall find nothing but scorched earth, death and destruction in the wake the tyrannic forces of Oculus. The circle is all that divides between rich and poor. Upper and lower. Weak and strong. Alive and dead. Friend and Enemy. But the circle is a vulnerable barrier. With every infraction it bends further to the will of the people. And when it reaches breaking point, the people shall rise and the hunters shall become the hunted. Be ware, Jrenster of the Eyelike Oppression. For you reap what you sow. The whirlwind is afoot. Will your house stand when it it passed?
  11. Words are wind. They are but the expression of the subjective, biased view of the fallible human intellect. Words are want. They are desire and they are fear. Words represent reality much like the garden hose represents Algebraic formulas. What a man was told is incomprehensibly irrelevant to the reality that is the forced dissolution of the honorable TPF and STA -blessed be their souls- at the hands of the Oculus hegemon. And now you stand, seeking absolution for your crimes as you continue on your murderous streak. When will enough be enough, Qazzian of the New Pacific Overlords? When will you cease coloring the streets with the blood of innocents? Or do you fear the writing on the walls to such degree, that you have fallen into anxious frenzy? It is not too late.
  12. Change. Change does not begin with the unprotected. With the weak and the harmless. The capacity to change does not lie in the hands of the oppressed minority. You stand above them, club in hand ready to beat to pulp the face of those who speak up, and invite them to bring about this 'change'. There is a fundamental disconnection between the feces which spout from your mouth and your conduct. One can not have his cake and eat it too. One can not be both the oppressor and the accommodator. One can not be the both the enemy and the friend. You have a choice to make, Petro of the Hypocrite Empire. Continue your game of political whack-a-mole and see your empire fall in a karmic apocalypse brought about by the vengeful cries of the fallen heroes you've slain, or repent from your sinful ways and lower your club to make way for a peaceful revolution of freedom. The ball is in your court, thus I decreed.
  13. The faint echo of a long lost lover's sigh resounded through the hall. Love and war. Intertwined within the psyche of mankind. A tedious balance upheld by the careful nurturing of the heart. And as the balance is tipped, it becomes deadlier than the strongest venom. Love: It can heal, mend, corrupt and kill all the same. The betrayed Phoenix, burned to ashes by its Pacifican lover. Its broken heart the catalyst of a never-ending all-consuming rage being ignited. It rises from the dead. Fiery flames swirling around as it enters its suicidal rampage. Yet the rage was mute. All that resounded was the sigh: The solemn sound of incarnate disappointment and disgust. For the Phoenix knew that rhetoric was a pointless exercise. That words would do no justice to the proper description of the injustice it had been forced to accept as its reality. This is a tragic rage, yet familiar all the same. The dramatic destruction of all one holds dear, for nothing more than the selfish ambitions of the one he once held tight. And so the Phoenix marched. To the beginning of its end. And as it marched it knew: That it had never truly lived until this very day. The day where it finally releases itself from the self-imposed shackles of reluctance. From the moralist chains that had kept it down so long. Nothing mattered any longer. Truly, it never did at all. The Phoenix was free. And its transcendent fire would not be extinguished so long as its hatred burned within its fiery eyes. There no longer was past, nor was there future. There was only the heat. Fly, Phoenix. And know that your ember shall reignite the revolution. So the Pen decrees.
  14. As the ink faded, his gaze fell upon a tiny animal squeeling in the corner. Its atrocious physique only trumped by its mind-numbing smell. Below the pig's teet, a shimmering blade rested. And so we meet. Transform, Pigblade. Upon that we view your true nature, and drive it from this land.
  15. He stood; Clouds, dark as the heart of Banned, the wicked doomchild himself enveloped him. They were alive- supernatural organisms radiating an aura of despair. It was as if death itself had incarnated itself into solid matter. It was certain: The demon child Baltus' weaker brother, Banned, had reorganized his rag-tag group of scallywags and privateers into a more formidable grouping. These men and women were persona Non Grata in the civilized world, for they could find no peace in its social structures. They were outcasts. Expelled and shunned by even the most degenerate layers of society. Doomsquad. A new nemesis. It's purpose? Not even Banned himself was capable of formulating an answer to that simple question. Doomsquad thrived on chaos. It *was* chaos. The Pen continued his musings as the aura continued to tighten itself around him; He could now feel its slow, rhytmic throb spreading through his very being. It seemed only days ago, that he had been awoken from his solitary slumber and departed his refuge in the bowels of her majesty's chimaera's service. The song of ink had commanded him. Inkblack tears had streamed from his eyes to form letters on the walls and the ground. The world has become a book ripe with the teachings of yore. Oh, how he recalled the blank, startled stares of the antlike crowd that had silently watched as he made known his intent. They would never be the same- the spirit of their community forever lost in the great war. The trail of ink had led him to the Bear Cavalry: A grouping poised to become the bastion of order. Free of the shackles that once binded him, the Pen's powers had grown exponentially with time. The time had come for the first challenge of the holy quill. As was prophesized. As was promised. Doom. Doomsphere. Non Grata. Pacifica. Umbrella. Yes, even MI6 and Polar. All had fallen to the clutches of the chaos that had filled the void of the first collapse. The Pax had long been driven away, and never returned. So the world found itself terrorized by a haphazard hegemony of Pacifican puppets. Mindless drones ravaging the world without true purpose or aim; or rather, without any objective known to themselves. For it is the strings that have become the end-all. Free will has become but a fairy-tale passed down from parents to children in midst of night. It is the fallacy of men; to believe that power resides anywhere but where we place it. The followed becomes the follower when the follower refuses to follow. And such is the message he intended to send today, as the second wave of hegemonic minions would flood his nation. A thundering excitement buzzing through is veins returned him to the world of the living. It was time. Thick drips of ink trickling down from the corner of his mouth slowly formed beneath him a pentagram. And in the pentagram, he stood. Silently observing his surroundings. The clouds began to tremble. The swirling intensified, the throbbing strengthening to the deep pulse he had become so familiar with. His eyes turned black, Ink rising around him to scatter the clouds, removing the barrier that had obscured his mind. And in midst of the carnage, three lines formed. Beware the PigSword. Unintended Machinations Hegemonic Desperation He closed his eyes and uttered a faint whisper: Show yourself. "The Pen is ready."
  16. The writing is on the wall. And as the ink drips down it follows the trails of its predecessors. Slowly into the dark oblivion of destruction.
  17. NPO and TPF are allied. TPF signs MI6 NPO cancels on TPF and attacks them in a malicious twist NG and NSO are allied TBC forms, containing a large contingent of MI6 members NSO allies TBC NG cancels on NSO (Fill in the blank) Our wretched souls are cursed. Forever shall we carry the burden of our past. The chain around our neck. The weight that drags us down. Our fate sealed by the faith we once followed. A state of joint isolation to be entered with whomever would partner us. There is no return. What we have become, we will remain. What we wish to be, we will never see.
  18. What's a king to a mod? What's a mod to a nonbeliever, who don't believe in... anything?
  19. It is certainly understandable that you are frustrated that a chunk of members left. It would be silly however, to generalize with regards to the reasoning behind these departures. Every individual in question bas independently made up his own balance based on personal perception, circumstance and experience. To that end, I can only speak for myself from here. A few days prior to my leaving, I privately informed a government member that I was on the edge of leaving. Frankly, I had resided on that edge for a while already. My reasoning can be boiled down to: I love most of you from an ooc pov, but the IC drama and as you already alluded, the victim complex were a structural source of mild annoyance to me. You know me at this point. These days my main thing is to simy joke around and enjoy myself. That was something that had been becoming increasingly difficult. Now, the govt member in question told me that we were turning over a new leaf. I told him that I would take some time to consider. A few days later, a few members departed and I registered once again the same behavior. If you are curious as to what I am referring to: somewhere in my topic history, you will find a speech written 9 months or so ago detailing what I believe to be the dynamic and the recurring behavior that stands at the source of most drama. Following that, my (standard) joking on irc was followed up with disproportionate hostility from a different government official including a comment that could be construed as inappropriate and in bad taste. The official ragequit. While it was a bit of a 'well, okay then' incident, it highlighted, to me, that we were back on the exact same path we had been on for months. That night I personally drew the conclusion that my style of membership and play no longer matched with that of MI6 and that it was better to leave amiably. You may disagree with my decision or even my overall conduct. That is your good right. If there is anything you wish to discuss, you are free to query me. I am placing this post here as it appears that there is still hostility going back and forth, and as it sounds like there is a perception that we all left for the same reason and with the same rationale. This is incorrect. Some might not have wanted to give the new government a chance. Others might have left for personal friendships. And others may have left because they were just tired in general. I do not believe any of that to be something one can hold against us. MI6 still remains an alliance with a lot of quality, and I still do hope you succeed.
  20. A leader that can bring Order to the chaos.
  21. Makes this whole thing seem a bit..moot, doesn't it?
  22. I don't think anyone disputes NPO's right to cancel with TPF over its MI6 treaty. While one would think that they would attempt work things out with TPF, as opposed to simply walking away from a years old relationship with what was arguably their most loyal ally, it is definitely their prerogative not to do so. The dissent is rooted in NPO's cancellation on TPF, followed by a pre-emptive strike on their ex-ally. That was not a 'path TPF decided to take'. It was a war forced upon NPO, who first attacked TPF's ally, and then refused to give their old comrades in arms the common courtesy of letting them decide for themselves whether they would move in defense of MI6. Once can argue 'strategy', but when it comes to a war where the odds were never going to be remotely close, and where TPF was never going to be much more than a blip on the radar, this was a courtesy that could easily have been afforded. The subsequent framing of TPF as somehow being at fault for the events that have occurred here is transparent and frankly, preposterous. *that* is what the argument is about. And *that* is the matter which you should probably address, as opposed to cherry-picking a topic where you might be able to make some kind of point.
  23. It has been stated multiple times that you yourself are guilty of the exact same and worse, as what you portray TPF to be guilty of. You signed NG, despite TPF's rocky relations with them. You signed NSO, despite TPF's rocky relations with them. You signed Umbrella, despite TPF's rocky relations with them. And while you eventually cancelled NSO, you did so a year later, when damage to relations was likely already done. You went your own way expecting TPF to follow you without complaint. Expecting them to reconcile with your FA choice of allying people they were not comfortable with. And they stuck with you, despite their weariness, because they felt their relations with you were worth it for them. When TPF then decided to sign one alliance out of sentiment, which did not fit in with your intentions, you threw a fit about it, dropped them, and pre-empted them in a war of aggression. Get off your high horse. Admit that you and only you are responsible for the fact that TPF is now burning, and for the deterioration of your relations, and quit your pathetic attempts at revising history and shoving the blame into the face of an alliance that has stood with you for years.
