  1. I find it equally as boring as clicking a few button every couple of days and pretending i'm a badass. Most of us play this game for politics, community, comic relief or any other mode of entertainment. The excitement of war, to me, wore off years and years ago. So the answer to your question is "nope". Most of us probably echo that sentiment. We'll do whatever seems the smartest move, and then entertain ourselves with drama and snark :P.
  2. Jokes aside: MI6 is many things. We are obnoxious, politically incompetent, unstable, arguably erratic and unlikeable. I do not think however, that any relevant player- opponent or ally alike- would attribute the term 'pussy' to our member body. We've used peacemode because we found ourselves in an unusual situation of war without a peaceful horizon. That is all there is to it. I in no way believe that you would have been 'resilient', had you been placed in our position. But then again, we probably will never know. You would probably be better off giving this peacemode argument a rest and letting the parties at war make their own judgement on whether punitive terms are warranted for the use of peace mode.
  3. What outrage? We just want peace Shuru... So we adhered to the terms..
  4. Greetings, Empowered by the collective will of our member body, I stand before you today as MI6' representative tasked with the presentation of our fulfillment of the instruments of surrender given to us by the collective forces arrayed against us. Peace means sacrifice. In the interest of concluding this war and resuming our peaceful coexistence in the world, MI6 has been requested to partake in the annual cybernations post-war history revision festival. MI6 therefore accepts that its habit of application of logical deduction is an obsolete practice and no longer has a place in this world. Recognizing this and adapting to the current intellectual environment perpetuated forth by the powers that be, we, the collective nations of MI6, accept that we were wrong to take the Casus Belli explained in Non Grata's declaration of war upon us at face value. We understand that our deduction based on presented information leads our intelligence to be called into question. Despite our lack of intelligence, we have been asked to admit that we have intelligently used the CB publicly presented by Non Grata to smear Non Grata & Co's good name. MI6 is happy to oblige. We apologize for questioning the morality of those forces opposed to us. In conclusion, we have been asked to state that we understand that our behavior following the receipt of a declaration of war constitutes the type of behavior that results in our targeting for war, and that this is why MI6 has no friends. We apologise for our misunderstanding of the standard political practises in this realm and vow that we will improve upon ourselves to ensure that the next time we are declared on, we will unintelligently hail our adversaries' ambiguous CB to ensure that our intelligence will not be questioned, that we will not be targeted again and that we have friends. We anticipate peace to be offered shortly by the member nations of both sides. MI6 wishes you the best of luck in your future ventures. Peace in our time. /s/ for MI6 Partisan, Speaker of the People, Agent 007 and interim M.
  5. Fortuna Fortes Juvast- Fortune Favors the Brave. I am home. I am whole. The second coming.
  6. Yet I have just been told that you were brought in the mix initially, and others were only brought in *after* that. What's up with that?
  7. I find it Interesting, since others have claimed that this has been in the works since April. As for my own alliance.... (you saw that I am in MI6, right?) I am perfectly capable of making up my own mind, and this will not always correlate with that of my alliance. What my alliance has or hasn't done (in terms of comparability) is entirely irrelevant to my inquiries.
  8. Actually, I was the one dealing with W's grudge against you. It had in every way to do with events that apparently transpired over there. But that doesn't really fit your supposed CB now, does it?
  9. So you are saying that this war was planned on a short-term basis as opposed to a long-term planning?
  10. Agreed. On topic: I demand a 3 month NAP. I also refuse to recognize Caustic's authority in speaking for NG. Can James confirm that this DoW is credible?
  11. WANA holds no govt in The Syndicate, nor does he affect Syndicate foreign policy in the other world. I fail to see the irony?
  12. See, now we're talking. I'm strongly opposed to crossover and so the notion of such a thing occurring annoyed me. I'll see about querying you somewhere today or tomorrow. In the meanwhile: Could you elaborate on the specifics of this reversion to old ways? Who has been poached?
  13. For Steve! What I've heard and seen so far does not support your narrative. You're free to prove me wrong and provide me with evidence of mi6' supposed trangressions. I'm a reasonable man. That said, it's been admitted that the other world plays a factor in this cb.that said, I'm not the one mixing worlds: your stated cb and rallying cry ('for steve') are a direct reference to another world's events. Hence, my reaction is strictly in-character. Why are you so eager to cast me as the perpetrator here? I was inactive until last night. Got something to gain?
  14. As the hero charged into the ranks of his isolated opponents, slashing left and right, it a ghastly dread took hold within his heart. The Pen he had so brazenly sought to defeat and the Steve he had so desperately hoped to save were absent from the battlefield. The carnage he had brought down upon this world would not achieve the holy objective he had been given; for the damsel in distress was located on a different world: A world where the tyranny of his kind had yet to spread, and where his long arm could not reach. A world where his adversaries had the capacity to limit his hegemonic tendencies and overpower his forces. And so, the hero's navigator had landed him in a small village of women and children, where resistance was futile- where victory was certain. The Hero and his men would burn down the helpless settlement and feast on its remains, thumping their chest as they proclaimed themselves the greatest warriors in the universe. The Pen is mightier than the sword. As you prompt the forceful collision of two worlds, you seal your own fate.
  15. It is unfortunate that yet another staple of this community finds itself skewered at the hands of the Oculus Menace. This planet slowly fading into a deadly slumber due to the Pacifican blight as the final beacons of freedom are rooted out. I will pray that those of you who yet find the strength within you will find a save haven as the remaining resistance takes up your mantle. You have fought well, soldiers. Petro, Lackey of the Laughably Lawless. When is enough enough?
  16. Let the comic reflect a Pen gloriously spilling its ink upon the wicked.
  17. Silence the oppositions with ridicule. For that which is not taken seriously, can not seriously harm you. When you don't see me, I can't see you. The soundness of your logic reflects the intellectual development of your alliance.
  18. As if that abomination of a bloc of yours cares about CB and validity. Your credibility at this point is lower than the collective IQ of sengoku.
  19. Oh look. Something did not go according to plan. Therefore, it must be a conspiracy, said the conspirator. Leave your irrational rationalization behind and bask in the chaos you appear to crave. This is your world now. Revel in it. Until the reckoning comes.
  20. A mutual curbstomp? Is that what you and yours tell yourself at night? You have no honor. You remind me of a championship fighter punching a 2 year old, squatting on him and then calling it a 'good fight'. But then again: The subversive elements of the world must be silenced. Woe to those who seek their own freedom.
  21. Feast, minions. Feast upon the innocent while you yet draw breath. For the reckoning is afoot.
  22. Pandora's box is nothing more than the dead, nostalgic fantasy of a group of jaded old men. There is no glory in this announcement.
  23. I am truly confused as to why we are bringing MI6 into this conversation. While I can appreciate your attempt at deflection, I would prefer focusing on your wars of annihilation against The Phoenix Federation and the Siberian Tiger Alliance.
