Okay This'll be my last post in the thread since you fail to acknowledge reason. First of all, your claim of 4-5x damage is bull unless you down declared and had targets that didn't fight back. Since your alliance has basically been in anarchy or peace mode the entire last few months, I'm going to disregard this claim. It may be true, but Its certainly not typical. Second of all, you're not accounting for 1. Ground attacks (3v1 you won't hit all 6 of your GAs while your opponents generally can), 2. NG nations running out of nukes, 3. The ability to pass off targets between rounds, or 4. The NG nations that have run out of money and are not even throwing CMs back at us now. It basically comes down to this - If you were doing so well, you wouldn't be getting out... Phrog

If you lose 2k tech, and 3 nations lose 3k tech (1k each), it's twice as fast to recover for the 3 nations than for the one nation. Lets be serious; it's really all about tech losses here; infra is cheap. So you can go look at whatever propaganda that you want and convince yourself you're going to be better off afterwards. Phrog

I'll give that to you - it's basically true from what I've experienced the last month. However, it's always basically going to be true whenever 3 people hit 1 person. That one person can throw 3 nukes and those 3 can only throw 1 nuke. Fortunately, because the damage is spread out more, it's a lot faster for the 3 people to rebuild than the one, so I'll recover more quickly... In addition, we've been able to make good collections this last month (App's only been engaged that long), whereas you've lost several months of funding. Phrog

Kudos to VE/GATO/TLR/NG and whatever other sanctioned/other alliances went up against us! Very courteous and friendly opponents. It should be fun to see the boost in Apparatus NS in the coming weeks as we all rebuy our Infra. We're literally down to 30% of our pre-war NS with all the lost infra from our top nations! Phrog

Given our alliance make-up (top heavy) and GATO's having some high nations held in reserve (peace mode), I believe that our top nations were able to overwhelm GATO's top nations slightly, while GATO's shear numbers overwhelmed the bottom 2/3 of our alliance, evening the statistics significantly if not pushing them in their favor. It's a good battle; very competent coordination and individual fighting skills on both sides. Very worthy opponents in my opinion. After The Apparatus' victory I'm sure we can be friends!
