1. I support this, two of my favorite alliances! o/ NSO o/ Tetris And the obligatory: Roll Kean
2.
You a freakin lawyer now or what? If Polaris sticks up for Pacifica after takin it again and again from behind, then life aint worth livin... one more nation down the drain...
And this ladies and gentleman, is where we wholeheartedly depart from the tracks of rational thought. Where this wonderful specimen is getting Polaris from in any of this brilliant thread, I have no idea; however, one must question, at this point, if fudgey rodney is really keeping track of who he is hating on.
3. Congrats Youwish! May your reign bring great things for the Sith.
4.
Someone signed this declaration at 48k and with no nukes in war mode. Ruh roh.
I openly admit that I was unprepared concerning nukes. However, I would rather watch my nation burn to the ground than sit on my hands in peace mode as my alliance goes to war. Whether we were prepared for this war or not, whether we should be in this war or not, we made the decision to honor our treaty, and will accept the consequences that may come our way.
5.
Congratz to GGA and NSO.
Why thank you kind sir for your insightful and thought-provoking message of support. Although you seem to have made a slight typo there...... You see, we are Phoenix Rising (PhR), an entirely separate entity from the now defunct Green alliance the Grand Global Alliance (GGA), although I can easily see how you would confuse the two acronyms, seeing as they bear such similarity.
6. This has been a long time coming, glad to see it finally brought to fruition. o/ PhR o/ NSO
7. Congratulations Legacy! Welcome to the party. Also, fail sigs are fail.
8. Just noticed that we weren't on there anywhere:
Color: Green Phoenix Rising (PhR) - #PhR
9. Congratulations on making it this far! It's always great to see another green alliance flourish. [sub]Even if your IRC channel does cause one to reach for the brain bleach...... I blame Mack for that one. [/sub] May you have many more years on the sphere. o/ Tetris [sub] [/sub]

11. That was brilliant. And I must say, it's wonderful to come across something on OWF that doesn't cause a headache. o/ Symphony
12. Does this mean we have to by Hamster that bigger exercise ball that he's been asking for? Congratulations to Ferrin, Cossar, and KungFuHamster, I couldn't ask for a better group to work with.
13. A welcome gesture in the current global climate. o/ Ronin
14. Welcome to the accords OEG!! We generally manage to play nice.
15. Congratulations to you both! It's great to see alliances grow closer, even as those in other parts of the world continue to drift farther apart.
16. Congrats everyone, it's been a great year. Now on to many more.
17. "What makes a treaty important is not the acronym, but the bond between those who have signed it." -Random IRC User Phoenix Rising fully supports our allies in Symphony, and will continue to do so.
18. Congratulations guys!! This has been long awaited, and as always, it's great to see another new green alliance. Oh, and nice set of treaties you have there. o/
19. Congratulations Tendo, et al. It's always great to see a new green alliance.
20.
Are you saying they have no influence over GGA? Of course they do they are its government
I was more meaning that they have no influence over the Green sphere, so any stance they should take on the matter is purely theatrics. If they truly want to change, they should change things that they can actually control. Begin with internal policy, rather than external.
21.
I disagree GGA's biggest problem is appearance. They have to show the world that they are changing. Is this not a first step? I beleive so.
But you can't exactly change what you don't have any influence over.
22.
I understand what you are saying, but I don't think GGA's main problem was ever a lack of membership. If we judged alliances by how many memebers they had then some of your most respected alliances would no longer be respected. I think the whole point of the announcement (correct me if I am wrong JB) was to show GGA would be reaching out to those on the green sphere in their long road of repairing their foreign policy. Why a simple announcement gets so many haters is beyond me though.
Because it was a grab for attention. It would be entirely different were the GGA actually able to do anything to prevent an alliance from joining the Green sphere; or were they able to take any retaliatory action against nations who commit these vague "aggressive actions", for that matter. As it stands now, this announcement was basically of the "Hey, look at me!" variety.
23.
Onwards to 2 mil and all that.
This. Always great to see the new faces!
24. Congratulations Athens on a war well fought. Specifically I would like to congratulate Kirchy and frywad32 on battles well fought. 0/ GGA o/ Athens
