Athens have been great to us, and I also hope we retain the relationship we have built up between us. Thanks also to the other signitaries of our surrender agreement of course. I hope those who doubt us will eventually come around, but I accept that it will take more to convince some people than others. We are, however, here to stay.

This I suspect. This has been said before and, although I've not watching for it, I don't think there was that much oppotunism by smaller alliances taking on each other. Some did attempt to increase their exposure by trying to join one side or another of the main war. I'd be interested to know if I'm wrong.

Yeah, thats right. You know exactly whats going on behind the scenes and are obviously the people to believe when looking for the real events and reasons. I am suprised if no-one has talked to SWR though.

I also respect the work KFH has put in for us. I don't think this is a move to blame him and SWR for whats happened, just an attempt to promote new thinking. As I said, I was not involved and it will either work or not. I don't doubt there are people who disagree with the choices, but I am hopeful that the future will prove at least some of them wrong. Not really. It's not really my place to discuss, and even if it was I wouldn't want to try and explain without knowing everything. I imagine there is more to the situation than I am aware of, so I don't want to accidentally misrepresent anyone involved. I was not involved in the process, but wanted to point out in this thread that I have hope it will produce some of the changes we need to survive. When I said degenerate has his uses I wasn't joking. He has put a lot of work into the alliance and, despite apparently being seen in a bad light by some on this forum, without his efforts we would have been in a worse position than we are now. I guess the decision was made with the idea that he has more to give. I expect this new Triumvirate will work well as a team to get the GGA back on track. EDIT- Added to prevent double post - Then stop talking about us and let us get on with what we need to do.

I respect your comments bzelger, and I will think bear them in mind as we move forward and expect others in my alliance to do the same. I am sure, however, that this isn't change for it's own sake. I also understand the interest about the internal processes here, but am actually less worried about how that unfolds as I am hopeful that the new Triumvirate will make progress. I do realise change is needed for us to survive. I am suprised to see that you don't think a change of 2/3rds of the ruling tier of government as drastic change. DeScepter is a new Triumvirate and has shown during her time in other government positions to be someone with intelligence and I would be suprised if she cannot come up with new ways to get us back on track. Shaneprice has shown to be hard working and effective in the past. I'm sure these are the reasons why they are now Triumvir. Even Degenerate has his uses!! ( Degen) This isn't a powerplay, this is an aspect of change, and I am sorry that you can't see that.

I am sorry that this is your opinion. It's not true however. Shaneprice has been back in the alliance as an elder statesman for a while now. Issues and disagreements were solved in private, any apologies needed from either side were given. Knowing the people involved as I do, I can't imagine shane's return to Triumvirate is a primarily PR motivated move and is more likely to be related to his experiences and work effic. Still, I am not Triumvirate, so I can't guarantee my answer is totally accurate.

I can understand that this seems strange to some people, but the reasons for it are unlikely to be half as interesting as you all think. DeScepter and Shaneprice will be very good Triumvir, and I look forward to seeing where they lead us. I'd like to add that we all like SWR and KFH, and really hope they choose to remain with us as elder statesman.
