http://kerberosnexus.com/ca/index.php?topic=13.0
Your Nation Link: http://www.cybernations.net/nation_drill_display.asp?Nation_ID=481880 Any former alliances: WTF, NpO, KoH, NADC, RnR, TdE, WTF Any outstanding debts or disagreements: No Any wartime experience: Very Little Why do you want to join us? I want to grow
Now that's humorous.
2. Speaking from a legal standpoint you cannot harbor, protect, or take information from spies and NOT support spying. Whether they be your nations or not, by assisting those that are spying you are assisting in committing a crime. It is much like harboring a fugitive... interestingly you not only do so, but you do so and brag about it very publicly. Out of curiosity is this a selfless principle coming from NSO? Isn't it sort of against the NSO philosophy to hold principles that bring little to no gain and hold a great deal of danger? It seems less self serving and more like holding a bomb whose timer has stopped, but you think you can still hear ticking.
3. I'm curious as to how Damsky is a destroyer of any of the alliances listed. Or is this a preparatory title because he wishes he was the destroyer of any alliance?
4. A couple of questions to the NPO: 1) If this is addressed to FAN and only to FAN, why post it so publicly? Surely you were to expect some sort of negative feedback from the community at large, yes? As it is, the community's opinions should matter somewhat. Some of these members may even be former FAN, allies of FAN, or friends of FAN gov't. No one will argue that what you did was totally wrong, but you should be focusing on redemption not in just FAN's eyes, but in the public's eyes (in relation to this specific event). 2) While it's been admitted that this apology should have sooner, why now? Obviously this makes it seem like a plea or, put frankly, as if the NPO is trying to politically twist their way out of this war. I personally have no opinion one way or another, I'm just curious (as many are) on the reason for the horrible timing. Thanks!
5. Eh, shame on MK/Umbrella for not declaring, whatever...but I've gotta ask: How are you whipping GOONS exactly? You're smaller than they are, your decline (alliance stats chart) is on a sharper decline, and...well...have you guys actually won any war (of significance) you've ever fought? I don't mean to sound disrespectful, but you guys talk SO much trash and yet do SO very little. I always thought that the "sith way" was to be victorious.
6. Have you guys even won a war of consequence? Whether as the primary alliance or as a supporting alliance, it doesn't really matter.
7. I hate to point this out, but every-time you guys make a war declaration you insist on bashing and acting like you're god's gift to CN. Each war you're subsequently defeated and you surrender or acquire "white peace" (which is really just surrendering). I'm not saying you're a bad alliance, it's just that...well...you're not scary. You're certainly far from being a top dog, and put simply your bark is far worse then your bite.
8.
Yes, because to send out orders to draft soldiers, tanks and CMs it takes such a long time.[/sarcasm] [OOC]If we or anyone under terms wanted to rearm and come back and attack, it would take a matter of seconds to buy up in-game and attack. The only downside is the restrictions on how many nukes a nation can purchase per day.[/OOC]
Perhaps not. But as you've stated, nukes take a long time to build up. Nukes are generally a big factor in deciding the outcome of a war. As it is...yes you could buy a bunch of troops, CMs, and aircraft, for a single nation. Multiple nations will take time [OOC] as people aren't on CN all the time [/OOC] and you'd be noticed and struck down if you tried any mass scale mil build-up...plus tech would need purchased (if you wanna be effective in a war) and that would take time.
9. I would imagine the biggest issue of allowing you to rearm is whether or not you'd continue to pay reps or start another war. As it is many of the Karma alliances have lost a lot of NS due to this cute little war and now would be a perfect time for Pacifica to rearm and seek out her revenge. Sadly it's hard to rearm when you're not allowed to maintain any military and every alliance out there is watching you...it is, however, a lot easier to rearm when being watched if you're ALLOWED to rearm.
10.
No need to rush. You've got 6 months to prepare.
Oh, those thinly veiled threats are SOOOO 2009.
11.
A sterling body of work detailing the history of this planet, eh? How it's relevant to TOOL peace terms is lost on me though. That said, these were horrible terms placed on TOOL, especially the approx. 1.7B in reparations. Good luck in paying them off and rebuilding swiftly, my friends.
These are HARDLY that poor of terms. No viceroys, no forced wonder decoms (anything ringing a bell?) and to be perfectly honest, yes that cash is warranted. I spent something close to $150 million thus far on this war (between build-up, nukes, paying bills after nukes, etc) and I know far more Spartans who've spent a lot more than that. We'd like to rebuild and I'm sure EVERY alliance that was involved on the DEFENSIVE (or you COULD go as far as saying the JUST) side. Just a thought.
12.
Honestly, I'm not trying to troll, but will make a personal observation. I hoped for Sparta nations to declare on me, and the only reason I am in PM is because I was able to fight one of you and convince him it was better to peace out then take the hit to his pixels even though there were only two days of war left. Really, if Vanguard, MK, or ODN hit me, I would not be in PM, and would have 100 tech less before I hit PM, then would have been staggered. But yeah, great job! edit: their/there
I'm assuming by your statement you've not fought anyone else but a single Spartan nation and if that be the case on 2/4 started this war at 65,121NS...you are now down to 25,864NS. I'm not saying it was a Spartan nation, but by your own comments I can only come to the conclusion that some nation beat your @$#. As it stands give me some time and if I get back up to ~25KNS before peace I'll drop you at least 100 tech. Ok, buddy?
13. The OP is like the TMZ to our Britney Spears. Shall we get out of a limo with a miniskirt? I'm not entirely sure anyone wants to see Wilhelm's or Tulak's "happy face."
14. If people are so unhappy with this why don't they look to TOP/IRON. They started a war with no cause backing them and when !@#$ started to fly their allies were happy with defending a war that was started by a few being a bully. As it stands TOOL accepted these terms and must think they're able to swallow them. You can paint this however you like, but the nature of the fact is that TOOL is OK with them. If they weren't we'd be having another "ZOMG SPARTA FORGED SIGNATURES!!!!!!@###(@@#*$)$$**$)*..." debate.
15. There's too much whining and this is a simple matter: TOOL is defending an alliance who attacked a bloc without ANY real cause. No spying, CnG wasn't attacking them, TOP hit them for no reason. War is costly...many alliances had to get involved to protect friends from the bullish actions of the few. Unfortunately TOOL CHOSE to support TOP/IRON's bullying. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU LOSE A WAR AND YOU'RE ON THE AGGRESSIVE SIDE OF THE CONFLICT. It doesn't matter if you're defending TOP/IRON or declaring on another alliance FOR TOP/IRON, you're still being the aggressor and at the end of the day it is the right of the defending side (especially a side that gave no just cause for war) to demand that the war be paid for through the work of the defeated. If you can't get over being butthurt over that, then here's a pro-tip: Be a whiny coward and don't fight. Ever. In fact, just quit playing the game. You take risks and you follow through with the consequences, either man up or get out of here. This isn't necessarily directed specifically at TOOL, but to ALL the whiners. Get over it...if you drag alliances into war that did nothing to deserve war than dammit you're paying for it.
16. Hmm...do you plan to stay in NSO, Ivan? Or will you create another order?
17. Too much bawwwing coming from TOP & Co Here's what we have: 1) A strained "friendship" between TOP and FOK (as evidenced by the OP), no official ties. 2) A friendship WITH an official tie (that treaty thing). 3) TOP attacking the friend that HAS the official tie (in an aggressive, not defensive nature). 4) TOP aiding an enemy that FOK is actively engaged with. I don't know what you expected, but with almost any alliance reason #4 alone would be enough to roll you into dust. You DON'T aid an enemy of an alliance at war. It's stupid and put simply you're stabbing FOK in the back by doing so. Put simply you started this war and weren't prepared for the onslaught of "FU" and the boots that came jostling to be stuck up your a#@. Don't go bleeding heart, it doesn't serve you well.
18.
Non sequiturs won't do anything to save you. Yeah, uh, you do remember how TSO formed right? Ditching their own alliance in a time of crisis because it would be too hard to actually do something to fix it? I know exactly what went down, I had eyes in some of the highest levels of MCXA government at the time. TSO was founded in treachery and exists today only because of the rampant cronyism of the late Hegemony period where a small group of people were more dedicated to their clique dominating the rest of us instead of improving their alliances/engaging with their membership. I personally am a role model to be followed by all who read this. I am the Shining Light that guides you all to the glorious truth. TSO are nothing but running dogs for a failed clique of hegemonists.
I think the lack of truth is what makes this statement nothing less than the funniest thing I've read in a long, long time. [ooc]Perhaps the mods can modify the max length of sigs so that I could sig his post?[/ooc]
19.
The one thing that kept you alive over the past year is currently getting curbstomped and that's only going to intensify as Polaris is now in a one front war. I wouldn't hold out much hope for a second birthday unless you go all Vox Populi on us. Since your leadership are a bunch of no-talent bottom feeders with less charisma than a dirty sweatsock, I don't foresee that being a viable possibility.
Oh I wouldn't go prancing about having a one front war, what with your former allies being no less than slightly pissed off on how you ditched them in a war they came to assist you in...twice...in a row. Say what you will about the mistakes TSO has made, they haven't ditched an ally whose help they requested twice in the same war. I wouldn't call yourself a role model to be followed.
20. I find it interesting that this announcement is so sparsely commented and our previous so much so. Could it be that our criticizers, who are so quick to mouth off, can't even give out a word of encouragement, respect, or civility? No "good job on the peace terms" or anything from the peanut gallery. How deliciously hypocritical.
21. I love you Sammy. I seriously hope you quit this pretense of retirement and come back full time. You my nerf herder.
22.
Reparations have nothing to do with recouping costs. We generally don't punish honorable actions. Legion were also fighting defensively. My slots aren't as loose as yours. (slut)
And here I was thinking that they declared on Sparta.
23.
Good luck on getting peace, Legion. [me]Bilrow[/me] wipes a tear from his eye. Sparta is all grown up and making me proud. It makes me heart beat with pride to see you doing hegemonic things. They grow up so quickly.
Still looking for that tissue? [ooc]Slowest double post ever[/occ]
