1.
Who, Flonker and his little monkey? Flonker's single greatest accomplishment is leading an alliance so miserable that it was forced to merge into your miserable alliance. I on the other hand am the redoubtable Rebel Virginia. I am a champion for justice, and my honor is above reproach. I led the NPO in its war against the Alaskan Border Patrol, and within hours the foe was completely destroyed. I was part of the Ivan Moldavi's staff during his viceroyalty over ONOS, preventing any chance of their recovery. I was their Director of Intelligence, and the one who made it the operation that it is today. I was invaluable to NSO's foreign affairs team, and it was by my shadow efforts that Legion was discarded by the few allies it had who matter. I am a more relevant than you will care to admit. Challenge me at your peril.
I remember challenging you on two different occasions. Quite perilous indeed! However, the necessity of supplying my citizens with orange juice comes with a certain amount of peril and danger that I wouldn't hope to avoid! After all, my queen needs her hairy navel! That reminds me, FreeMason, let me get that vodka when you're done.
 2. Woot! Peace in our time. I'd like to give a shout-out to Rebel Virginia, it was fun fighting you bud, glad I could return the favor on the second time around! Also I'd like to congratulate all of the other guys I was fortunate to go to war with, you all represented your alliances proudly! Also also, good show to Tetris and her allies for coming to defend her no matter what the original reason of the war, way to stand by and offer your support. Also also also, thank you to our allies who stood by wanting to help and being awesome in general! Ave Legio!
 3.
Yes that's because we've been demanding reps from alliances in this war. Oh, wait .... we haven't. I was wondering when my former membership in the Legion was going to be thrown in my face. But let me correct you on somethings. First, I wasn't trolling the Legion. Polar, yes. Legion, no. Second, my post was an observation of all the crying this this tread. My 5 years in CN has taught me that when people cry in an announcement thread it's because what was being announced really works. Third, the guys at TOP will get a great laugh at me being called anti-Legion.
Again, I quote
Given the reactions in the thread it's obvious our actions have had the desired effect.
If your intentions were to troll Polar, they were not obviously stated in your rather ambiguous post. That being said, my 4+ year experience in CN has taught me that there is no such thing as an honorable alliance as long as said alliance contradicts its very stance (such as declaring on an alliance in peace talks). I am not the only person who see's through the thinly veiled excuse of "coming to MK's aid" as an excuse to do what, wait in line to attack? What aid could the ever powerful MK need against a paper tiger such as ourselves, and why does it take so many alliances to keep us down? Also, what is it that you say "really works" as is evidenced by the crying in this announcement? Your vaunted experience has blinded you from seeing the hypocrisy of your alliance and the Paradoxical nature of its actions.
 4. lol, looks like Paradox wants their little slice of the non-existent 2.5bil reps. Don't worry guys, they're just living up to their namesake by declaring during peace talks. Also Hi Simon, its wonderful to see you trolling your former alliance
Given the reactions in the thread it's obvious our actions have had the desired effect.
...

 6.
Our troops will grow fat on Phoenix bounty and be rendered less effective for the inevitable counterattack.
Not gonna lie, I lol'd Ave PR, welcome to the good fight!
 7. Great read, and nice humor too As a member of the WAE, I am honored to stand by you still.
 8.
I have been laughing at this since it came out. I thought Polaris was smart enough to know that Legion is awful. Aparently not. Ave Polio
Late troll is late.
 9.
By the way, where was this "principle" when you all cowered and tried to disband to avoid NPO's punishment?
I need that laugh bro. At first I thought I couldn't be surprised, but peztrolling?
 10.
Your comments were so far off-base that I did feel it warranted an expounding. I remember things exactly as they were on the LUE bit. Go check the wiki and you'll see that there was indeed a cold war and that there were indeed multiple conflicts. To deny that is simply ignorant. I never mentioned 'the rest of bob revolving around said conflict' and I would appreciate it if you sticked to my actual comments. I would also note that resorting to personal comments (mindless drone?) only shows the weakness of both your argument and your verbal strength. I think the only one looking silly here is you. All I see in your second paragraph is gloating about how you fought 3 nations. Big deal, I fought 3 nations as well. Does that mean the GGA was overwhelmed? No. I recall that TOP and FAN were the only alliances actually assigned to focus on you and they did a great job at that. Even if you had been 'overwhelmed' you still performed incredibly bad. Something you can't deny.
I'll let you interpret my words as you wish (seeing as I used a definition of "drone" referring to "one of many" in terms of your viewpoint on history; never did I call you mindless).
 11.
You are describing a 'brief' war between NPO and LUE. Lue/NPO was a rivalry. A cold war, so to say. The LUE and the NPO had been at that state for as good as their entire existence and went head to head in multiple instances. On top of that, MK was for a long time perceived as LUE 2.0 by the powers that be and I do believe they harbour a good lot of LUE members and I don't believe MK has ever been on great terms with the old 'hegemony'. (correct me if i'm wrong on the latter) FAN did not depart with 'lols'. FAN never departed at all. They were at a prolonged state of war and managed to sing it out until the alliances that kept them at war were defeated by other forces. They were not 'welcomed back' by their enemies. Their opponents simply no longer had the power to prolong the war and as such had to let FAN go. Your point doesn't apply there. When you try to use history to make a point, at least try to have your facts straight or you will just look silly. Apparently we do indeed live in a different world.... The reason you were being ridiculed for that war was because depite you having pretty much a numerical advantage over FAN/TOP at the time (if not an advantage sides were at least even), you were crippled with great ease. I'm not sure about the MHA but i'd contest your claim that the GGA was *actively* engaging you. I fought in that war as a Senior Field Officer and my memory tells me that you weren't a priority of ours. The only wars you got from us must have been a couple of members that picked a target willy-nilly. You weren't overwhelmed for as far as I know. Then again, my memory might fail me. As for "ballsy"...It would have been "ballsy" if you did it in GWII. This move was simply stupid. You have an... Interesting perception of history. EDIT: typo
Silly Partisan, this comment was already discussed a few pages back, and as such is the case, it is not warranting a secondary expounding of my points. You may remember things as you wish, the fact that you place so much emphasis on a feud between NPO/LUE that "the rest of Bob seems to revolve around"(sic) shows exactly the mindset of the drone I'm talking with. On your other response, I fought as well in GWIII, took three nations to ZI along with myself (one deleted), where two of those nations were of the three that declared on me. And I was of the lower tier strength. WE fought overwhelming odds numerically wise, and coming in late as we did only helped the initiatives cause.
 12.
Having played since GWII, I haven't seen much demonstrating any real change in The Legion. Which is why many people still harbor the same antiquated issues with your alliance. You guys seem to be content with your mediocre status and only voice concern about people calling you out on it; yet you don't generally act on the concerns, just complain for a bit and then just get back to doing nothing.
Well I can only hope that people such as yourself (individuals that have been here a while) will take this opportunity and take a step back from the preconceived (and rather outdated) conclusion concerning the Legion and its ability to function as an alliance and begin to recognize the signs of an alliance actively providing for its members, for I recognize when the powers of discussion are outmatched by the tradition with which one has stood by for such along time, and it is by no means my desire to plead my case upon the masses that consider myself and my fellow Legionnaires to be less than we are. Thinking us weak because of past failures or because of ancient grudges undermines nothing but yourselves. Ave Legio! o/ Ave Polaris o/
 13.
Hi. My name is Cager. I appeared on Planet Bob right after Great War 1. Fought in Great War 2 AND Great War 3 with the NPO. I was part of the opening blitz again GATO during the Third Great War. I saw your alliance trip and fall over itself fighting TOP and FAN. I've been in every NPO conflict from GW2 to Karma. Please enlighten yourself.
My mistake then. I joined months before GWIII and was only a small nation when war hit. So that being clarified, I must ask, why do you hold to an antiquated grudge such as this when you of all people know how the face of Planet Bob has shifted over these many years? You yourself have witnessed the rise and fall and rise again of countless alliances. If LUE were to come back to life, would you harbor ill feelings towards them considering the brief war between NPO and LUE? Did not FAN have an interesting welcome back to Planet Bob, despite the lol's with which they departed? You criticize the former leadership of the Legion, and yet accept them amongst your ranks and promote them to your own leaders. How is there such a oxymoronic state pervading the political climate of Planet Bob?
 14.
That is a terrible analogy (ooc: RL ones usually are tbf) and you should feel bad for making it.
Indeed, I concede they normally are . Yet in spite of presentation style, the point still remains. To hold young (relative term) nations in contempt for something old predecessors did is silly, especially with the assumptions that the same old farts are shaping FR policies. I for one have never been prouder of the Legion, not even when we were top of the charts did I feel as I do now. Ave Legio o/
