1.
What are you even trying to argue here? Doomhouse declared without a numerical advantage, especially when factoring in various counters. And we certainly expected to fight your upper-tier nations from the get-go. The only thing that denied us a 'straight-up fight' from the very beginning was the staggering cowardice displayed by your coalition. We are merely offering you a chance to redeem yourselves.
Is that right? Interesting. I could have sworn the NPO had something like 16 million NS on January 23. Didn't you guys declare with something in the neighborhood of 31 million? Now, as I said, I am no genius with the CN technical stuff but I am almost certain 31 isn't less than 16.
 2.
I would hope to Johan that alliances don't have banks anymore. We stopped it having them in '07.
Alright, thanks. As I said, I had no idea. So none of the peace-mode MK nations have been in since the start of the war? Would be something if it was just a handful, like 12-15, or roughly 10%. Just wondering.
 3.
Maybe when the war is done you can bring NPO out of 2007.
Doubtful. Shall I assume that to mean there are no banking nations in CN any longer? I have no idea. Pierconium has zero infrastructure.
 4.
It's because most of our 56 have been slipping in and out the entire war, where as you have a good 50+ nations that have stayed in peace mode for the entire war, which happen to be in the upper tier.
Now I am not CN technical genius, even though I am your Minister of Trades , but wouldn't a 10% rate of continuous peace mode be fairly consistent with the concept of banking nations within an alliance? Are you saying that alliances no longer have banks? (This may be true, I am genuinely asking.)
 5.
Alright, fair enough wrt which comment you were referring to... but I'm still confused. Who are my new masters again?
The same as everyone else's. The victors. That is the way of the Cyberverse. I am not knocking the system, I just find it disappointing that the masters can't seem to put two or more coherent thoughts together lately without including an ad hominem attack.
 6.
Figures that the response from the other side is to avoid addressing the substance of the post.
I don't speak for any "side" - at all. I speak for myself and often simply to piss people off. And the substance of the post is that you guys are butthurt over the past and want to fight about it. So how did I not address it?
 7.
Why are they cowards? They have a chosen an enemy of roughly equal size to themselves, and called them out to the battlefield. It is your side that has not answered the challenge.
Well I haven't seen the statistics in a while but last I checked the entirety of Doomhouse and whoever else they are getting ongoing aid from is not equal to the single alliance of the NPO. Please clarify for me so that I don't speak from ignorance. Also, if this would have been the initial declaration of war it would have received praise from me. I am all for a straight up fight. But it doesn't. It comes weeks into it after the combatants are set and several others have been freed up, undoubtedly to bring additional pressure into acceptance of these terms. After spending weeks getting prepared financially and militarily, with a clear statistical advantage, that's when this "enlightened" method of warfare comes up. And when I tried to offer such a thing to an alliance larger than mine most of you guys pissed your pants and went out of your way to threaten us not to go through with it because you weren't prepared for the possible ramifications.
 8.
Not quite sure how "that's a hit lol" equates to "no you" but I'll cut you some slack, you've got a lot on your plate right now.
I was referring to the comment that you praised, not your own remark. You praised a juvenile OOC attack that offered nothing to the IC dialogue at all and I was giving you credit where it is due. You have new masters now and their standards aren't very high, so you are doing it right. *thumbs up*
 9.
Might want to reel in Comrade Moldavi. He's throwing one heck of a fit.
Actually, I'm just posting because I happen to be on right now. I have no fit to throw. You guys are cowards, always have been, always will be. This just solidifies that perception. And you throw in some random crybabying along with it just for fun. You guys need therapists more than you need war. Grief therapy could do you wonders in getting over all the butthurt feelings you guys have over things that happened years ago.
 10.
Looks like a solid hit from Natan.
Very true, because juvenile attempts at [OOC]OOC[/OOC] attacks are the standard of today's ruling elite. It is good to know that you realize who your masters are here and feel secure in the knowledge that third grade level "no you" is the best you can achieve.
 11.
I would be a poor diplomat and ally to deny my fellow Doomhausers their proper spot along the line. That said, MK happily awaits Pacifica's response to our offer. I expect the missiles of affirmation to come swiftly.
So words from Ardus = just another LUE coward Okay, thanks.
 12.
Do you need a tissue to clean up that oil leaking from your fine automobile?
Do you need a tissue to clean up that !@#$ you have leaking out of your pants once you realized how lame five year old jokes that weren't even funny back then are?
 13.
Seeing Doomhouse leadership fight NPO + friends leadership for a month would be amazing.
Yeah, see, that isn't what I said at all. It was rhetorical anyway. We all know that despite the !@#$%*ing and moaning about supposed gang-bangs from the past (I assume this is some of the emo issues I mention earlier) that certain alliances never fight honorably and would never offer anything of the sort. They wouldn't even offer this straight up until after they had been sure to utilize superior numbers to beat on their opponents first.
 14.
People ask every war, "Reparations are so pointless and unwieldy, why not just fight it out and declare peace when both sides are satisfied?" We offer this to you, Pacifica. You will pay us not a cent. When this is over, you will be left to rebuild, no terms whatsoever. We just want to see you on the field of combat as you truly are, and face you on the field of battle in a duel that will be remembered forever.
Ah, a duel? Does that mean it will be[s] LUE[/s] MK versus NPO straight up? Just wondering.
 15. What "cruel emotion and crippling condemnation" dominates your past? How are you removing it? Just wondering. Sounded very emo to me. Would you like a tissue?
 16.
To make land useful. Somebody's gotta go to the suggestion forums.
That was an inside comment for some of us that were around during the Great Patriotic War. bros knows.
 17.
Mushroom Kingdom King: Archon Crown Princess: lebubu Princess: Ardus Lord High Vanguard: Drai Lord High Treasurer: Infinite Citadel Lord High Communicator: potato Lord High Inductor: Quinoa Rex Enclave: Epiphanus, MagicalTrevor, Denial Minister of Trades: Ivan Moldavi
If my name is on it then it must be sincere, right?
 18.
Because Cortath, or Mary, or any of the IOs, aren't Moldavi. You and your alliance and your allies may need to realize that he hasn't been an important part of the Order for a very, very long time.
This man speaks the truth. More's the pity because of it.
 19.
Oh, I am aware. I'm just curious why he is in here talking about how his apologies meant nothing. It isn't helping you guys very much.
I wasn't aware that I had any case to make or that my words carried so much weight. Considering how so many people clamor over themselves to comment on my posts and point out how I am a has-been it seems rather ridiculous for you and others to make any sort of comparison between my actions and those of the current administration. Also, to actually address the point that you and some of the others are attempting to make in regards to my comment, you are completely correct, it was realpolitik for the moment, and never more than that. I apologized for getting caught more or less and was very clear at the time the apology was made that such was the position I was making. You and others are incorrect in comparing my rescission of a personal apology to an official action by any Emperor of the Order though, simply because while I was Emperor no such action took place. I took my apology back after I was a private citizen and I did it just to spite the masses. Since it was a personal apology it was mine to take back at my leisure. I opted to maintain it while I was in office but once I was out my actions were my own and no amount of revisionism from you will make that an official action of the Order
 20.
Do you think for a second that anyone actually believes what you're saying? The decision to stand down was yours and yours alone. The people you were fighting merely insisted that you surrender. And the reason for that is that the last time you messed around about surrender NPO spent years denying it had ever lost. But you decided (for whatever reason) to make this unnecessary promise that you would never surrender and would stand down if you did. Of course you eventually surrendered, so you stood down. Fine. But that's not our problem and we certainly didn't act out fear of the mighty NSO.
Of course you are completely correct. The manufactured CBs, the multiple threats and the back-room conversations with our allies and enemies about the fears of what would happen were I to control a substantial bloc are all figments of my delusional imagination, regardless of the mountains of evidence that existed to the contrary. I have never once considered the feelings, thoughts or concerns of those that stand as my enemies, so I fail to see why I should do so now. Of course the ignorant masses will not believe me. It is generally accepted practice that all internal government workings within even semi-competent alliances are not revealed to the general populace.
 21.
An apology that was as sincere as the one that started this discussion? Or were you merely emphasizing that words mean nothing when issuing from a Pacifican Emperor? Inquiring minds want to know.
The apology was sincere for the time in which it was given. Even your limited capacity for clear and rational political thought can appreciate that the situation in the Cyberverse can change dramatically over a span of 6-7 months, which was the time between the apology being made, in which I outlined that my position was still correct even if the end result was somewhat questionable, and when I rescinded it.
 22.
My side? I find the characterization funny, since I came to CN after GW1 ended, and then was promptly allied with NPO for the next two. Hilariously, some of the major players opposed to NPO in GW1 stood opposed to me in this war, if not directly at least on a coalition basis. Legion, GATO and LoSS if my memory of history is right. I think trying to characterize 'a side' across that much history to be dubious at best, too much changes over time.
I deal in absolutes. Since you are not with me...
 23. Nice to have peace with FOK. They are my favorite foreign alliance. Congratulations to VE and the others as well.
 24.
Tell us again how GW1 ended, NPO's word is next to worthless, it has been for years. NPO has demonstrated repeatedly in the past that its word is only good for as long as its expedient for you to keep it.
It ended because I willed it so. Against the wishes of my membership and after weeks of failed "negotiations" from your side in which I whittled down your ridiculous demands to nothing more than a personal apology from myself.
