NPO did not lie about not entering the war. The fact that I have views and opinions during that time does not equate to then Emperor Cortath. They were, as I stated, my views. You can say "The Regent of the NPO said xxxx" however at the time I was an IO and the decision did not fall to me. I was made Regent in the middle of the war. I know you are having a hard time getting past one line and keeping things in the context in which they are written. I mean hell if I were you I might consider that as well considering in the end you blew your political wad making a !@#$% move that you are justifying out of paranoia. Its over, done with, deal with it. If you have to troll a blog that specifically stated they were thoughts, then I guess the guilt you have for acting the way you did is pretty strong. Let it go man, frankly I am sick of the stupid propaganda and soapbox dealings spilling from your mouth.
I get your side, I even accept it: NPO was going to enter we have to pre-empt because its tactically sound. That lost validity the moment the Polar war ended and DH continued. But whatever, yeah yeah I got it great move the hell on.
I am going to say it ONE MORE TIME: If...say it with me... IF our allies called, even tho we had no desire to enter, we were ready BUT... stay with me, I have a hard time believing we would not answer our allies. Stay on target now.... That final decision was not mine to make, it was only the Emperor. To say you are prepared and say you believe you would support your allies when requested is NOT... again NOT equal to NPO was going to enter.
Now, I have tried being nice but you insist on being a !@#$ and grandstand, but I should expect no less from the group that in negotiations, AFTER asking us to write the terms (which we all agreed on) entered with "WE ARE THE VICTORS, WE WRITE THE TERMS! :fist slams desk: and then re-wrote them. But I will speak more on that in the second part of this series. Seriously Lusitan, remove your head from your fourth point of contact okay.

If our allies entered, as I have stated, I seriously doubt we would have denied them. That would have been Cortath's call. If it was just to defend or help Polar we were not entering. That is what I am saying that is what I have said. You don't get to read just one line and take it in a context you like, take the whole. There are so many threads for you to debate, you really needed another here. Whatever. Search through a hundred thousand threads and find as many lines as you can to make you feel comfortable with you soapbox. I will sit here and just shake my head.

Lusitan and really anyone; take it any way you want it. I said they would be my thoughts, they are my thoughts. I was sharing the dilemma in my thoughts and the situation. If anyone is looking for justification in their actions (on either side of the war) meh, there are better places for it.

No need or real cause to aid Polaris.
If allies were in, we would honor our history and agreements with them.

There wasn't a whole lot that was black and white about this situation. If it were we would all agree and I wouldn't find a desire to share my views on it.
Its funny you bring up something I was thinking of writing about the owf and how every decision has to be black and white and exclusive against any other decision. There is no world where such finite lines are drawn whenever people and emotions are involved. Sounds great from a soapbox but is really a disservice to whatever issue is at hand.

A decree of neutrality would have been moot and frankly wrong. First we weren't actually Neutral and it would have put us at odds with those which we are and were close with. The fact remains if our direct allies were in our history with them and our trust in them would have caused us to go in, not the document we signed. Furthermore the OWF would have saw that and had a field day. In the end, nothing would have stopped the pre-empt. The only thing it would have served was bad PR for Doomhouse (which they did plenty of themselves). Bad PR for Doomhouse vs putting a strain on our friends is not the course we wanted to take, nor should have taken.

Let me clarify, I think others used your Polar war as a gateway. When I start to ramble my phrasing falls apart.

You seem to believe I am trying to say one is right over another and that isn't the case. I am stating what I have seen and my thoughts. Step back from your knowledge (or don't) and see it from a different set of eyes, that is all this is.
Also if I thought VE directly orchestrated all of this, I would have said so on your forums directly.

Goldie: No I don't believe you (VE) declared on Polar to pull us in. However the watchers on the periphery I believe did calculate it for their uses. There is no way to look at the webs and not see the possible connections. Stage 2 doesn't have to be done intentionally it just has exist so it can be used, whether that was the intent or not.
Flak: It was a probing of the NPO. If that probe was met with force, I think there would have been less of a desire to bring NPO into anything. In any kind of situation like this, if you really want to know what someone is going to do, stick your toe in the water and see how hot/cold it is.

Goldie: Our it could be because there was an agreement and understanding such a thing does us no good? Its not great spiritual reformation to make any change, its a matter of need based on what is around you or/and a change in the people making the decisions. Both are applicable. If you are inferring it would return if we had the power to do so, I call !@#$%^&* because I happen to know the Emperor and the IO's agree we are not served in any way fostering long term anger. Are we (the NPO) so stupid as to not learn from our past and move forward? We have survived as long as we have because we do adapt and change.
Cheyenne: Or perhaps it had to do with !@#$ LordFingolfin was doing and saying with Triyun that pissed me off. I always find it interesting when I have a conversation with someone and they say one thing, then do another when they think it wont get back to me. Oh how I love it when people talk ill of me behind my back; LF did that do himself IN this game with me. So yes, no support for him from me. I know its convenient to try to make it seem like it came from another source, but that isn't the case.

Brehon, I am generally known as Cheyenne, if that helps. I sport this nick due to being placed on EZI by your alliance and having to reroll under an alias if I wanted to do something as directly aggressive to NPO as play the game.

Listen play the game, I can understand your frustration as hell my entire alliance was hit for existing after not doing a damned thing for two years. But I want to make it clear, we don't have an EZI, PZI or any other such list of people. Regardless of the past and all the other !@#$%^&*, no list exists in Pacifica today. I have not seen such a list ever nor when I was made an IO.I have now and always treated people how they are. In another game I gave you trust. You !@#$ on it and tried to work behind my back. Do you know what that means in this game? Not a damned thing. Do you know what your CN history meant in that game? Not a damned thing. I am and always have been a man of my word and I will treat everyone in how they act here and now. Not everything in the past equates the now or future. We all could use that lesson.
So I am here and I am readily available for contact if you want to talk about your past with Pacifica. One thing I think we could all do well with realizing, none of us are innocent, !@#$ doesn't happen out of randomness. So when we talk (proverbial we) lets at least admit that

I am where I am Xiph.New Frontier I don't know who you are so I can't comment from the dark. As for Pacifica doing what she wants (or can get away with), we haven't done a damn thing overall. We have shown a willingness to work and talk things over with people. We will grow and strive to be the best, yes that part isn't going to change. Are we willing to do anything for it, no. The ends do not justify the means.

Brehonreading your reply, it seems to me as if your talking about NPO, how ever I am unsure, the only part that would make me think your talking about someone other then NPO is the fact your NPO... hail brigade.
No, when you pull back the propaganda it is clear Kylliah was playing the man behind the curtain yet used that to draw attention away from her. But considering you were one of the people I saw in her channel and I would imagine you are either A. part of her puppet team or B. another of the NPO hating puppeteers.
I am an educated, involved and active member of the New Pacific Order, I know the facts and I watched her twist, even warned those of her motives and actions. I was disappointed to see I was right, but again life if just.

You speak of a man behind a curtain as if you spoke so boldly about your convictions and concerns from mountaintops. You did nothing of the sort. You used private channels, pm's and became a puppet master to those that fell quickly to your words. You had them be your voice as you attempted to subvert more to whatever your cause was without any substance or real data. Just thoughts, whims and inuendos. Then when several crashed on your parade or simply called your comments (even tho it was unknown at the time they were your comments) to task, they could not be explained. They were only theories with important data taken out. What did you do then? Ahh yes, you disappeared like a thief in the night.
Then you are back, once again quietly trying to manipulate your puppets; playing the lost, yet now found wounded heartfelt soul. You wore high your banner of your new alliance as you attempted to come clean. Once confronted that you were attacking your ex-comrades, you played your "heavy heart" came clean to your government (joy for them) and asked that you take no more of those targets. Oh how well you played that card, oh how well you are playing the grief stricken victim.
As you gathered your little puppets, you made a mistake. You allowed them to reach out for you, to find others that you could add to your collection. Instead they brought you one that called you for what you are. When met with the facts of your actions you stated "No its okay, he is allowed his opinion". Smart move as well because it allowed the waters to clean themselves and thus keep your puppet pool pure. No there is no victim here, only a traitor, only a liar only a user.
Vox was partially right about one thing: We have no idea how deep our traitors are.
But you knew, even then. I see the pathetic little person trying to be more important. I see the pathetic little person trying to show how grand she is. There is only one thing that is certain; You are a lie in all that you are and do.
Their are no scapegoats, only the meddlings of you and yours and how you wish to toss the victim facade on them once you and they are discovered. Wear your skin of filth, your mouth of lies and your eyes of deceit. We see you, we know you and we do not want you. So I have to ask, because I understand your point. Do you not see the only reason you had traction for Vox was indeed the NPO? Proof of this exists in two forms:
1. You never did anything again regardless of oppression that rose to power.
2. People start speaking Vox again when the NPO makes moves some consider threatening (boggle).
Regardless of what it means to you Nintenderek, I believe you are a mass minority. Since it has been so long I am not sure you can even, just by yourself, say what it means as if it is the only meaning/reason.
