1.
It's not nice but it definitely helps. If the general membership gets depressed because they don't understand how meatshields work, there's a bigger problem.
But then, how many meatshields would consider as a definitive help?. 5% of the alliance, 10%, 20%, 50%? or doesn't matter?
  2. This discussion popped in the MHA channel when MK declared on them and I thought it would make an interesting discussion on the forums. Are Meat shields viable at all towards an alliance? Main arguments seem to be: Yes - They use up opponents war slots therefore protecting the alliance's real members, enabling them not to be hit as hard. - Bolster stats making the alliance look more bigger then it really is. No - Stat Wise - They cause a great difficulty in actually knowing exactly WHAT nations you have ready to fight. You are unsure who will be there with you in a time of war. - P
  3. For me it's still a failure. You miss out OMFG and OBR (tho they have no real treaties) who are major players in the Avg Nation strength. Perhaps, because it's 2D and a total mess. Your probably better of grouping blocs as a single entity. If one alliances is connected to the bloc, then all alliances in the bloc are connected to it. And so forth.

  5.
I like this a lot, but the cynic in me is asking why didn't you do this a long time ago before all the !@#$ happened or before everything couldn't be salvaged? Didn't see much abou boting being referred in your charter, is the old voting structure still in place? If I didn't get my facts wrong, part of your problem was the voting structure was so weighted towards those in charge that those not in power would find it difficult to change things? What are your plans to prevent something like this happening again? It's probabl
  6.
So this is nothing more than a coup made by those who leaved Grämlins and let the alliance be destroyed by Ramirus, but now those people are now coming back because they are bored and decided steal the AA for them? I really don't understand how so many alliances are supporting a blatant coup like this one, well I can wonder why...
I disagree with the word Coup. Coup is about replacing the Government with a new one. We aren't replacing the Government, we are replacing the AA. Taking over it, making changes to the existing w
  7. After a while I've wondered and waited to see what MHA would be like in a war. I guess this is yet another war I'm going to have to wait to see if words speak true. Good luck all.

    War Stats
Nice web, but I'm still sort of waiting for the "official" one that someone usually comes up with for every big war.
This one is unofficial because I use my own hand instead of some program every man and his dog (the others I've seen so far atm) have used?.

Its nothing fancy, but I like doing it: Any mistakes, please post the reply in my blog of this (easier for me to find) found here

    War Graph

I did this in the karma war, it was like playing chess.. very complex. I'm hoping this war eclipses Karma because it will make doing this really entertaining. This is done with Paint. Not any fancy - Boring program that will make it look neater or better, or whatever. Just my mouse and the basic program for Windows. I base the graph on declarations made. I don't add arrows if 3 nations from A hitting C because C is defending B. This was the latest (but not the last one I did) of the Karma war if your interested in how big that one got: http://img402.imageshack.us/img402/6333/warmappng1h.
  12. Sorry double post. Clicked quote instead of edit and didn't realise.
  13. In all honesty, we had no real hostilities to Goons. We might have got our butts kicked around but we had some fun doing it. We got our TWO WEEKS OF FAME
