1.
That's a funny way to spell "Eternal MADP"
Wait, I thought it was a merger? So I don't have to sign up on new forums!
 2.
It's a ToA.
Guess again
 3. This is what I like to not see o7 OMFG, you guys are the best bunch I know in CN.
 4. Hello NR, The Ninja's are a closed membership alliance, so unfortunately I can not directly invite you to join us. I understand you must have many offers for leadership positions, and membership alike, so I will simply say if you would like more information on membership with The Ninjas, just send me a PM. Regardless, it looks like you have some great work here. I have been trying to model a similar project, but more for economic efficiency, and not war targets. There are a few economic strategies I would like to test out in skynet, and see its capabilities. Please let me know when you arrange the test drives as I would like to see what skynet can do. Thanks, -Eg.
 5. Its down to respect. We were always "bored". We always had an "evil hegemony ruining the game". We always had tech raiders and lulz alliances. We were always waiting for the "next great war". These things are not new. What *has* changed is the *respect* factor. Back in the day, respect was always given, even to your enemy. Those who didn't give respect were quickly thrown out of power, or at the very least, scorned on the OWF. Despite your feelings or actions towards an alliance in game, you always treated them well out of game. None of this crying and whining and PR stunts. We played for fun, not to destroy. We played to create, not to plunder. We lost the ability to respect each other. Do that, and people will change their attitude about the manner in which CN is played. The *way* it is played hasn't changed, just the *manner* in which it is carried out has. That, and a few mechanic updates would be nice. The game becomes a bit complacent when you have all the wonders and can buy all your infra back...twice...with your warchest.
 6. Wow, yet another issue in today's CN that boils down to respect. First at MK. Your amount was to high, and you have admitted such, but I ask *why* were they to high? Was it a misjudge of monetary compensation? I think not. If this nation was bearing the tag "GOONS" or really most other alliance tags, then no reps would have been asked of, and you know that. It was the mire fact of the NSO brand that lobbied your interests. To deny such is to hide your motives. Don't take us for fools. Next time, maybe if a little reason combined with some *respect* (even if they may be on the other "side") was used, it would have saved all of us some headache. Secondly at NSO/RV. The above goes the same for you as well. If MK came to me with those terms, I would have clearly and rationally argued that an alliance government is not, and has never been, responsible for botched trade circle deals, except to take actions against the member in question. After conveying such a message, MK surely would have came to their senses and dropped the rep amount. Don't try to hide your motives as well. Just because this was MK, you took it farther than it needed to go. You went to the OWF way to soon just to grab a little PR for a situation that is a regular occurrence. Anyone who has set up a TC knows they are botched a large portion of the time, especially when dealing with younger nations. Just as MK tried to take advantage of the situation when they saw the "NSO" brand, you tried to take advantage of the situation when you saw the "MK" brand. In closing, both of you are in the wrong. You both need to grow up, and lend a little respect to the other. Stop trying to take small unimportant events into big ones, just to take advantage of a situation. Give respect, you get respect. Even when that alliance may be your enemy. If you really want to attack each other, do it. Pull a Ninja. Because trying to manipulate CBs is way worse than attacking with a true CB: We don't like you.
 7. Since the early days from Gremlines, to the later days in The Ninjas, I have had many friends in Kronos. I wish you all the best, as you were a great alliance. PS: Who is this quigon Jinn character
 8. Not giving a mercy board term... GOONS In all seriousness I think we ninja's proved our point. Ejay said it very well. Numbers shouldn't dictate respect. We ninja's are true brothers. To GOONS, you were merciful with your reps. o7 OMFG!
 9. To be clear, there was no conspiracy theory here. I take my hat off to GOONS for reaching a very reasonable peace agreement with the former FnKa. This is much better than I had expected...maybe a point was proven here about GOONS, just not the one that was originally intended. When preforming an experiment, you might start out with one hypothesis, but upon looking at the data, you reach a new conclusion. I for one have much more respect for GOONS coming out of this war than I had going in. To those left in FnKa, good luck finding a new home.
 10.
Gentlemen, as I'm sure you're well aware, MK was treatied with us when your attack occurred. I'm sure you're also aware that there are other alliances we're still treatied to that are involved.
Listen, I wasn't implying that MK didn't have a reason to *first* go to war. My point was, that since then, treaties have been canceled and they still have declared new wars upon ninjas (most recent was yesterday). Without a formal DoW. I understand GOONS need's its treaty partners to fight us....but does it really need the entire friends list too? It is a beat down after all, and as you made us so aware there *is* other treaty partners in this conflict. So...why does MK still need to be involved? Or more accurately, why does GOONS need MK despite not having a current treaty with them?
 11.
Yeah, that's obvious. Quit crying. The Ninjas attacked us. Why you're whimpering like a dog in the rain over their misfortunes and how we're being horrible people by allowing our allies in on the fun is the real question.
Last time I checked GOONS's didn't have a treaty with MK.
 12.
If nations leave because they're being raided, I highly doubt they would have stuck around if no raiding ever took place on Bob.
Personally, I think it's about the *time* in which they get raided. If you joined a new game...that took forever to build anything worth playing with...and you lost all of it within the first week or month, would you stick around? The problem lies within the mechanics of CN. It takes so long to build your nation, that when you loose it at a drop of a hat you get frustrated and quit. Speaking for me, if I got raided on day one, I would have quit. If I got raided on day 1,000 I wouldn't have. When your new you need time to grow and learn about the game. It's like when you catch a baby fish...you gotta throw it back.
 13. I doubt GOON's will force-ably disband us ninjas. While I can see how people would want to twist it that way...I think everyone can agree that won't happen. If we disband...it will most likely be because we wanted to.
I guess it depends on how long they want to fight. I believe one of theirs said they had the funds to fight for a couple of years at mid-range. So unless they actually do fight for a couple of years, at least that one should be able to pay some reps, although I'm sure others of theirs are similarly prepared.
But... Please GOONS...Don't perma-war The Ninjas!
 14.
So... congrats, GOONS. You're the new Legion.
This one made me laugh.
 15.
Please ChairmanHal, tell me what I do not get. We've wanted a war for some time now, and we're getting one, one which carries about 0 real risk to our long term stability. We could not have asked for a better gift.
It almost like GOONS planned this entire thing....
 16. And they say there's no surprise left in CN these day. Good Luck, and Admin Speed FakeEdit: Does this mean we get a new rap battle?
 17.
It warms my heart.
Aaaah the good old days. How times are missed...
 18.
Why? Did you have a mutual aggression clause with them?
Nope. Doesn't change that what we did was out of *respect*.
 19.
Well, they did cancel their treaty with VE without the wait period so they could declare on friends of VE.
If you actually had spoken to VE you'd understand *why* we canceled the wait period. If we had attacked GOONS without canceling immediately on VE, VE would have been forced to enter the conflict. We did not want them in our mess, as it was hard enough to break our decision to them. I thought this was a good thing?
 20.
To your first question - this situation is not being treated differently at all. If GOONS raids a 10-man alliance and there is outside interference, we will deal with that outside interference in a way that we see fit. In this case with a 10-man alliance "raiding" GOONS, there is outside interference, and you can deal with that interference in any way that you see fit. In either case, outside interference is not prohibited. It's just that in this case, due to the situation, you have far fewer options at your disposal.
So might makes right, is what your saying? and I don't mean to put words in your mouth, I honestly want to understand your side of things. To me, your logic says that because a small 10 man alliance has little to no "muscle" it shouldn't be treated the same as GOONS? To me, I feel The Ninjas deserve the same exact treatment as GOONS. That includes a DoW. Just because we are small, does *not* mean we deserve less.
 21.
I'm guessing because that 10-man alliance GOONS raids doesn't have any treaties/friends.
Hmmm....Well I guess that sucks for them!
 22.
That said, I'm disappointed they aren't just doing their work on the battlefield and keep asking people to DoW on them for some reason...
I feel it is somewhat of a responsibility of an established alliance to declare when they make a decision that effects another. In my eyes this defines an alliance. IE, existence, policies, treaties, and war. If we hadn't issued a DoW on GOONS, we would be tainted as "real" rogues, no? So why can't they give us the common courtesy. Why are their attacks anymore "special"? Is it because they are on the winning side that they don't have to issue a DoW? This really leads me to my bigger point about mutual respect. If the GOONS can tech raid an established 10 man alliance without interference from outside sources, why can't an established 10 man alliance tech raid the GOONS without interference from outside sources? In the same regard, if we have to give a DoW to GOONS to be deemed "serious aggressor" (and so does the rest of CN), then why don't GOONS' allies gives us the same? What I set out to prove is that numbers and allies *don't* and shouldn't mean more respect.
 23.
Chin up buddy, you'll get there one day
Ok, today seems like a good day. EDIT: Forgot the content.
 24.
Many parts of this quote lead me to believe your goal is probably to lofty.
Have you thought that perhaps we have already achieved our goal?
 25.
Alright since there's apparently some debate on this issue I'll spell it out. We consider the Ninjas an alliance, not a very good alliance, but an alliance nonetheless. Even still, I hope you guys realize what you've gotten yourselves into, if you truly do not intend to disband. We are not the type to say live and let live and grant white peace. We are going to be fighting you for a very, very long time, and when we're finally ready to entertain the notion of peace, you're going to be paying us for a very, very long time.
Aaaaw man....and I was hoping to get out in the first round. Well 3.5 billion should last me about 2 years on your mid tier. I guess I should have a [ooc]life[/ooc] by then. I figure 2 years of fighting you guys is better than 2 years of doing nothing.
