If Umbrella and TOP members decide to ghost MI6, I'm sure that Kaskus will be outright peachy. In related news; I strongly disprove of any attempts to try and use potential, hypothetical treaty chains to avoid the consequences of making stupid life choices.

When AE brought some former CN players back, 2-3 of them were former MoFAs. They were so drained by the experience that despite being well retired (one hadn't touched gov since a brief stint in TOP's gov about four years ago or so), they absolutely refused to engage in active cn politics on any level. Maybe Kaskus isn't that busy politically, but it's definitely not the best way to go if you want to avoid the BS that comes with inter-alliance politics.

MoFA is no way of retiring from the political aspects of CN. Far from it.

That you chose to not consult your ally over this at all is a far better indicator of incompetency, though given you aren't an alliance, I suppose you have different standards. He didn't want to accept peace because he wanted supplication. You were overlooked because you weren't relevant enough. I didn't even declare, actually; I merely 'recognised' his decision to escalate things beyond himself. Your 'wrath'? Really? You can take a grand total of zero credit for how things panned out, other than being the only one in the conversation to have and even more inflated ego than methrage himself. Having already wasted my time with meth and having seen little from you to make me feel like you'd be any more pleasant, I doubt that you would have had any positive influence on proceedings. Disbanding AE once our reasons for involvement were more or less resolved (ie; a concrete peace for LPH) gave alliance members freedom to move on and ended the war without dealing with LN ever again.

The one-man AA demands people sit in his channel and acts haughtily only because of a deal with AI. At no point during the war was that viable due for a variety of (ooc) reasons, and by the time you started mouthing off for real, the negotiations had already been exhausted. Oh, and then you decide to poach ops. Easy to accuse, harder to admit to your own errors - which I have. I don't negotiate with people on the sideline, other than a successful endeavour to prevent doornail from escalating the conflict which smurf decided to conveniently disregard later on. I negotiated with methrage directly, via pm and irc. With rey's approval, white peace was offered and accepted multiple times, before war jesus' slapping of stonewall. Meth's decision to reject and frustrate the numerous offers pelted at him was his alone. I'm only here so I can keep watching the house of cards fall to the ground.

Acting before having all the facts is a good way to screw up. Expecting that LN knew how to not mess up a peace deal - right after they screwed up several less than a month ago, is another.

I offered a blanket white peace as a counter-offer to methage offering peace for himself and nobody else in LN, as you well know.

Only a small portion, actually. I gave forewarning prior to that date and of those that were raided, nations that wanted to (ooc: keep playing CN) were assisted in peacing-out and finding new homes. Offered aid as well, though only one person responded. AE had lingering inactivity problems before the war started and disbanding was discussed a number of times, since I was stuck as leader without any willing successor. Given methrage's inability to negotiate in good faith (ooc: I offered to accept perma-war in exchange for the rest of AE getting peace and told him my ooc reasons for wanting it but he thought that offer was a valid excuse to start demanding ig cash) and the lack of point in keeping AE going for the sake of my own ego - combined with my lack of will to file all necessary paperwork were instrumental in my making a decision that I obviously have regrets over. Unknown Smurf talked himself into a war, and obviously has regrets over his decision. So did I, when I realised that methrage and his ilk are impossible to parley with. Now, hopefully his decision to chain through the oA of a protectorate that was never activated and thus give methrage more reason to reject an earlier settlement, will be regretted.

Enlighten me as to why you continued being a member of LN after I caught methrage selling-out the rest of his alliance in a peace offer during the LN-AE conflict.

Hopefully MI6 won't allow you to start a war and then immediately attempt to talk your way out of shit. Learnt that lesson myself, as you well know.

Apparently, the revelation of Smurf being terrible (competent, moderately intelligent and entertaining, but terrible nonetheless) is a sudden revelation, despite previous ongoing actions to the contrary. I do however respect your pep and commitment to simultaneously stopping and starting shit.

Please explain to me why they would nuke you given that DBDC clearly doesn't care, given your complete lack of political traction insofar as rallying some grand crusade against the doomsphere. The onus of 'doing something about it' remains firmly in your own end of the court. Why accuse others of cowardice when you quite clearly aren't leading by example?

It is not the fault of anyone other than yourselves if treaties and other ties are not publicised. If you lack the will to display said information, it reflects poorly on yourselves and hinders claims of respectability. Can't blame anyone else for incompetence.

If only this was about uniting the retards! I can't admit that such a vaunted objective is unique. Rebel Virginia has previously mentioned it before, but that would be a greater service to world peace and security than anything involving the 'Orders'. Loki would even have a head start if he tried.
