So, GPA enters into their hall of fame people for deeds that they did for other alliances. While it is nice that they recognized the deeds of a Pacifican such as Mary, it is somewhat interesting to do from their point of view as she did it for New Pacific Order not having GPA even in the back of her mind while doing it. Actually, its quite silly really. I hope you realize just how much. For example, you know Marry took part in 'Woodstock', right? Ex-members are ex-members and the deeds they do for others hardly warrant your hall of fame. It is more so funny to me you would comment that as you did. GPA is irrelevant to my interests as they do nothing therefore in the political landscape with many actors that do it is truly a waste of time and a form of luxury to bother with them. As for the rest of your post, thread addresses the general populace which I already explained is quite pointless. If they want to reach parts of their ex members that would still care-- public part of their board suffices. 'Committed hater of GPA'? Now that is even more ridiculous than this thread, kudos hahaha How could one actually hate GPA? That requires a level of care and emotional investment which I or anyone else for that matter, couldn't possibly have about an alliance that does nothing but just exist. Do not confuse lack of respect for, which I and many others have for GPA, with hate. Respect is earned, not given and since GPA doesn't do anything that could earn respect therefore lack of it for it. You can only hate someone or something that did something to you or to someone you care for which would result in such an emotion. I believe this is my first post in a GPA thread or GPA related topic in years. It is funny what narratives people can create from nothing so to make some kind of response when they have none to make. So a neutral alliance is asking the general populace to nominate a(n) (ex)GPA member for their hall of fame? What are the general populace to judge on, when the entire point of GPA member's interaction with the outside world is to be neutral and engage into meaningless and mind numbing exchanges. We obviously cant judge on internal contribution, since we aren't members and do not know about that and that is the only real criteria one could have in this case since you are no international movers, makers, shakers or breakers. So to what this turns into is friends bumping friends. Top notch stuff GPA, let no one say you cant be funny.

It holds true, regardless of day and date, that if you do not have time or will to log on to CN you do not. Be it war or peace. Those that cant bother with CN on Christmas or New Year will not. I fail to see the need for a 'spectacle' about it. So if you war like minded people in that regard truce will come naturally and regardless. If you do not, it will not come regardless. Those that cant bother, usually also don't bother to make threads about it. Those that make threads about it, usually are active and invested enough that they will check on CN regardless. I am happy you will have a desired Christmas Zog. I believe that is the true reason behind this thread. Personally, I made 'the cut' years ago. Life is too short to be spend with people you do not want to bother with. My Christmases are only for people I care for. And they are great as a result. :)

You are equating what we in this game call a C.B., with meaning of a war. Mistake made in OP as well. All wars here have a meaning. For majority of them C.B. is a trigger not meaning. A point of start. As already said, this is all matter of taste. Some like elaborate empty propaganda to sell war-- what CBs actually are. But I have played for too long now for it to have any meaning for me anymore. And also, wars do not need to be sold like that any longer. Besides differences in taste, OP shows also lack of understanding. Point in case, the NPO shout out. OP seem not be able to understand that war can have full meaning, motivation, satisfaction and flare based on things besides grudges. For NPO war is a means to an end-- securing a better future for the alliance which purpose and meaning is to always strive to be the top. War doesn't need be based on a grudge when that pails in comparison to the mission of the alliance. Grudges can only be something that sometimes sweetens the pot, but are a luxury and beside the point for alliances as NPO. So we do not need or have a grudge against SNX, or Polar, or whoever the fuck. You are simply in the way currently. And while we war, we do not need to be a bitch to each other. We can have a friendly banter and competition. Only score NPO cares about and wants to settle, is the one where it and it's allies with which it tied its destiny to, grow, prosper-- be the top.

As already said, this war (as those that preceded it) has a purpose, meaning, aim. This OP only boils down to a complaint that in the current conflict those that started it didn't bother to bs to great extent about the trigger (c.b.). That is a simple matter of taste preferences and no substance difference.

It is not done because it only motivates your political opponents to take an extra kilogram of flesh from you. You are never going to get it 'lighter'. Furthermore it also hurts your political capital and keeps the antagonism burning for the next war- where you will again be extra rolled for it. 'Psychological gains' are none to speak of in reality. Easily can be argument made that effects are exactly the opposite on moral. Blatant defeatism doesn't do any favors for you. You will never see this done to this degree as its pure suicide therefore quite stupid. Here is a secret for you-- when people want a piece of you and they aligned to get it, they will. You can only make it worser for yourself. Take the blow, dish out most that you can in return. It satisfies antagonisms, cleans slates, gains political capital and if you are smart enough you will capitalize on those opportunities.
