They are the ones who would (and are) smashing the other side if it came to war. Both sides knew this, so at the end it is just dumb for UPN to react the way they did. Plus given the way politics on planet Bob have evolved lately would it be surprising if an alliance didn't take a run at their allies despite UPN asking them to stay out? Hell NPO got run for not having an allies back, even though they weren't asked for assistance. The fact is that UPN's reaction not only endangered their own alliance, but their allies as well.

I don't think I would ever be for such a measure, but for arguments sake how about as a surrender condition if the losing alliance had a member cap for some period of time. To make it more complicated how about limiting the number of members an alliance can have in various NS ranges for a period of time.

[/quote] One reason is that given the way cybernations works, someone would probably take the oppertunity to say it was an MHA plot and use it as a CB to declare on them as a whole. As for survivor, yea us! This competition though is really favored to alliances like Argent and FAN, ie medium sized alliances that have longtime players who aren't bouncing around between alliances and consistantly buy tech. IRON has been really impressive considering their size, having to deal with ghosts, and new recruits who will just stop playing and end up getting deleted. Congrats to them, they've been really impressive.

That is correct. Admin changed all the nations from MHA to Mostly Harmless Alliance for us though.
