[/quote] Though M*A*S*H was formed by ONOS members, the hatred from the ONOS members that were in M*A*S*H was not vocal and calmed over time. At this point, there is only a hand full of ONOS members left in M*A*S*H (Fits, Flonker, PP, Bedford, Vendetta that I can think of right off) and they are all inactive at this point. I must say it is sad to see M*A*S*H put to rest, but it is nice to see it finally taken off life support. I was there for two solid years but in recent times it had slipped. I'll miss the boards and community we had. It is sad to see so much work end like this. I will always keep my M*A*S*H buddies close. o/M*A*S*H

I think at this point of the thread the argument is moved away from you cant cut off ties (some are saying that, but it is parties not involved) towards the fact M*A*S*H does not want its name dragged through the mud. You are arguing two different things at this point. No one will tell you that you can't cancel a treaty, you just need to make sure what you site for the cancellation is rock solid proof. That's why most treaty cancellations are short, sweet, and vague. I'm gonna have to be in that 5%. You can ask any of your alliance members who talk to me. As many of you have seen in multiple threads previously made on the forum, there is a rumor going around the M*A*S*H has a MDP with Knights of Ni! (KofN). I am here to set the record straight that we do in fact have a MDP with Knights of Ni and explain the confusion. M*A*S*H had a merger of TAA in summer of 2008. We had told TAA they could request treaties to carry over when they merged in, and KofN was one that came along. BoomerIsGod, our Executive Officer, (2nd in command) sent a the treaty to KofN and asked for them to sign it. He then made a post on our forum in our leadership section. At this point is where the treaty was lost in M*A*S*H. No OWF post was made over the treaty. Also, Boomer had not made a post in our treaty area about the newly signed treaty, so as more threads were made in our forum, the treaty made it deeper into the pack. As I looked over our forum, I noticed we did not have a post by or about KofN within the past 16 months. I have also signed up on KofN forum and noted there is nothing in our embassy beyond the treaty Boomer had sent over 18 months back. Fast forward to the current issue. Boomer has been deleted for over 6 months now and Flonker, Col. Fitswilliam, Bedford Forrest, and I are the only leadership left in an office from when the treaty was signed. Supreme 142 was asked and quote if he knew of a treaty between M*A*S*H and KofN. He answered to the best of his abilities as there was no evidence of the treaty on OWF, Wiki, or our forum (unless he went 10 pages back in archives on our forum). When the Exective Officer (Dran129) returned to see the situation unraveling on OWF and a post by Supreme about the situation, he remembered talks about the treaty and was able to dig it up on the M*A*S*H forum. Supreme made a correction of his post on OWF, but was asked to edit it so M*A*S*H could talk to KofN directly first instead of talking through OWF. Bedford Also made a post when he saw that the treaty was found. With M*A*S*H leadership all on the same page and realizing the clerical from 18 months back, Athens, our MDoAP, and KofN, our MDP, were both contacted to set the record straight. Private channels have been used to discuss the issue and problems are on their way to resolution. All This being said, M*A*S*H will not be posting any more about this situation on OWF. Any posts made about this situation is not endorsed by M*A*S*H and can only be seen as personal opinion of that single nation. OWF is free to speculate what is happening, but understand any questions asked will not get a response from the alliance as M*A*S*H feels it is more important to work on the issue in private channels instead of through OWF. Well, we can look at only the sanctions as of May 2009. There is a total of 10 nations who have a standing sanction since then. 6 of those nations, including RV, have no means of buying nukes, as in not near the top 5% nor do they have a MP. The point the stat was trying to get across had nothing to do with the aid scamming which you feel is in dire need of sanctioning, but was to show sanctions are no longer used just for those going nuke rouge as said earlier in the thread.
