    Earlier, the MHA announced that we would not be fighting alongside the New Pacific Order.

    I would like to amend this announcement slightly to point our that the treaty is still active, and we will defend the NPO against anyone who seeks to bandwagon.

    At the request of Karma, those who are bandwagoning will be given one chance to back down. Those who fail to do so will find themselves in a state of war with the MHA.

    I wasn't aware that we had an ODP with you guys.

    It's an MDoAP. You were the aggressors. That makes our entry optional. And when we've been pushing for peace all week, do you expect us to fight with you for something we certainly don't back?

    We informed NPO that they would have our backing if they exhausted all attempts at peace. Attacking during peace talks is not the way to go to gain our support.

    The Mostly Harmless Alliance would like to announce that due to recent events, we must clarify our Defensive obligations. We'd like to make it clear to all of Planet Bob that as a mostly peaceful alliance, MHA supports peace over war, honor over convenience, diplomacy over conflict, and defense over aggression.

    MHA does not support the war initiated by the New Pacific Order and The Order of Righteous Nations.

    We made our position clear to them regarding the possible implications of war, and our general dissatisfaction with the whole mess. We said it then, we're saying it again. MHA is choosing to do what is right, and it is choosing to not support the actions taken on behalf of those treaty partners. We will not be activating the Aggression portions of the those treaties, nor shall the Defense portions of those treaties be activated. To do so would be to support actions that are fundamentally against the MHA's way of life and our Chartered policies.

    In addition, any MHA Defense partner who does support their actions will similarly be unable to Activate their Defense treaties with the MHA. We understand that you have obligations as well, and as sovereign alliances the decision is entirely yours, but we hope that you do what is fundamentally right. We also cannot allow those treaties to prevent our other Defense partners from defending their allies against those who support this action. In order to resolve any possible treaty conflicts, therefore, those who support the NPO/TORN war will not be defended by the MHA.

    As we are already informed of the positions of the following partners, these treaties will be fully activated should any alliance declare war upon them:

    - The Härmlin Accords

    - The Trident

    - Sparta MDoAP

    - FOK! MDoAP

    - TOP MDoAP

    - TAB MDoAP

    - ROK MDP

    - Umbrella MDP

    - EPIC Protectorate Bloc and all Protectorate treaties

    One year, four months and thirteen days ago, the Mostly Harmless Alliance joined with eleven other alliances to form The Continuum. Over time, our loyalty to the bloc did not waver, despite the loss of close allies such as FOK, The Grämlins and most recently, Sparta.

    It's been a long run, and a good run. However, MHA held a referendum among our members to gauge their opinions regarding our membership of Q, and the vote left us with no doubt as to the opinion of our members. Thus, MHA hereby announces our withdrawal by the activation of Article VI of The Möbius Accords.

    A – Any signatory may terminate its membership in this pact following a period of no less than 72 hours following the notification of the other signatories. Termination of membership removes the former signatory from all terms and obligations of this pact and will not occur until after the aforementioned 72-hour period has passed.

    72 hours ago, we informed the remaining members of The Continuum of our intentions and as a result we are no longer bound to this treaty.

    We maintain hope that we can stay friends with those in Q, even though we no longer share the Continuum banner. Our treaties extend past The Möbius Accords and we still hold close to our hearts the allies we leave in this bloc.
