  1. Might may not make right, but might makes CyberNations. That's all that matters. Who cares if might makes "right" when "right" does not save you? Being right in CN is often like being right when in a crosswalk - if a truck hits you, you had the right of way, but you're still dead.
  2. Yeah, you'll exist, but you'll get tech raided to death. Between other unaligned nations and alliances that are okay with unprovoked raiding, the majority of nations in CN in your strength range will be able to consider you a target if they happen to come across you, and the odds of anyone caring enough to help you are pretty small.
  3. Usually, it's the people who you offer compensation in return for long-term trades that do this, too. What's the point? It's not like you gain anything by getting more money if you just are going to let your nation disappear anyway.
  4. Der_ko nailed it. Unless you want to RP your nation as if it were a real one.
  5. I know that. My soldier efficiency changes with the exact same percentage as my total soldiers does when I buy soldiers. I checked and my environment isn't changing. Someone messaged me and suggest that it's my total population density that's changing. My PD is 39.7 so maybe the soldiers are putting me over 40 density which is the problem - but I can't test that out right now b/c I can't dismiss soldiers again.
  6. That's what I wish blockades would do.
  7. I already said I did not hit the too many troops threshold. How would my efficiency change just by having more total troops?
  8. Why does this happen? I know I didn't cross any "too many troops" threshold. My citizen count was just over 20k and when I bought soldiers, it dropped below 20k so I had to sell the soldiers right back to be able to get an improvement.
  9. That sort of unrealistic role playing is part of the problem with this game. Any military response is met with nukes flying across the globe.
  10. If blockades were trying to resemble blockades in real life aside from the fact that both involve hostile ships, they would affect something else besides tax collection anyway.
  11. Trying to find ways to improve my economy, which like many others has been hurt by the environment from all these nuke-loving jackass spewing their radiation all over the atmosphere, and I was experimenting with all the "My government position" stuff. Apparently opening my borders to more immigrants makes my population decline. I bet GWB wishes it were that simple
  12. Lucky for you that you now have a national religion that supports atheism.
  13. Without a soldier multiplier, I find it a bit odd that many nations will have more sailors at sea than they have ground troops. A modern carrier has about 5,000 people on board, for example.
