2.
In their defense, they didn't support it.
No one did, but because they were beaten, no one cared because that meant free tech. They got away with it, essentially. You guys will too, and likely you won't even have to pay out tech. Might even get some more.
 3. How about a net of +10-12? For every worthless sack of used toilet paper that gets thrown out, you tardfish will sign at least two more.
 4. Hmmm....As a play on the Boer Wars of the late 19th century, we could call this one the "Bore War". I mean, boredom is the sole cause for all this, right?

 6.
and finally he made white peace without even informing MHA.
You can rest assured, I had nothing to do with the so-called "white peace", and did not authorize my signature being used by Peron.
 7.
Nevertheless, I am flattered that you would go through this exercise to send a message to me Ramirus.
I thought it was funny too, haha.
 8.
edit: Oh yeah, fun fact: Most of the people that willingly put Ram into leadership positions were the first ones to leave the alliance when things started going downhill. Ask Karma Hero LM, for example.
LM left way before I was promoted. He left because you -wouldn't- promote me, remember?
Our old home does not exist any more. Plus I'm sure that in a bitter piece of irony the Ram-stooge Archons would either veto entrance or veto promotion and make sure that they couldn't be voted out so easily.
I'd veto Boondock, probably.
 9.
If you wanted apology, why did you wait for 3 months, 3 months that has had huge cost for us and even bigger opportunity cost.
Maybe you should've surrendered on March 27th. You would've been been out of terms and had full peace in under a week.
 10.
Can someone show me a log where i officially said anything to any IRON representative regarding anything peace related.
No, actually..no one can show such logs, because they don't exist. That's my point, thanks.
There were many things wrong with TOP.
While I agree with your bulleted analysis just about 100%, the conclusion I draw from it is that you're saying that you were "wrong" in the sense of 'incorrect'. Meaning that you made decisions that were bad for you in terms of material strength. When I say "wrong", I mean it in the sense of 'reprehensible'. Still though, that is quite an insightful perspective of your alliance, and I find it both refreshing and respectable. You should convince more of your alliances mates to think like you do.
The pre-emptive strike was merely the obvious external manifestation of a warped internal perspective and nightmarish political position. I won't call that wrong.
"That which does not kill us, makes us stronger." Using "wrong" in the sense of 'incorrect', I agree with you 100%. It takes a strong character to learn from your mistakes and come out a better person (or alliance) because of it. I must say my conversations with your people recently are so much different than in the past, it's genuinely a pleasant experience. Some of you remember me railing on your forums about how you needed to boot your years-old leadership cabal (as we had done) and screw your heads on straight. While my language might've been rough, it appears to me that you have at least somewhat followed my recommendation, and I commend you for it.
When something is presented to us formally, I'm sure our government will vote on it.
Well then that vote has probably been open for a couple days now. Again, I have to say that regardless of whether you eventually agree to support our peace efforts, talking to Berith and others in your .gov...actually holding a rational discourse....was a refreshing change.
 11.
Q: Do you now consider that ESA is no more a silly peace of paper? Q: What makes you think an apology now will be sincere after you have attempted to do?
The ESA is still a silly piece of paper, so I haven't changed my mind. However, though our own foreign policy is paperless that doesn't mean everyone else's isn't (unfortunately...the game would be a lot more fun). I don't think your apology will be any more sincere before, but I don't think you'd just be "paying lip service" either. I think that since almost everyone involved now agrees with us that the the overall thoughts about this war require some additional points not addressed in their original ending of it, amending the ESA makes sense. I think that IRON now has the chance to show that they are actually a strong alliance in more ways than simply military force, namely strength of character. Did you chop down that cherry tree or not, George?
The one that was put on the table before...it was offered by us, not *demanded* by your side, nor it was *required*, where were you then?

We offered an apology because we had one to offer, because it existed, and it existed without the pressure to extract one from us.
As has been said before, Chill violated our charter and abdicated our authority in any negotiations that occurred. Also, I thought it was DAWN who offered to apologize, not IRON? In any case, this isn't just about you. Pretty much everyone now understands that having the war end without so much as a mention of its causes was a travesty, a sham, and a mockery. A traveshamockery! That's why pretty much everyone is now backing the idea that we should all go back and fix that part of it. I have a question for you though: Why did you offer an apology before?
 12.
Why did you consult virtually no alliances on the losing side about your proposal to amend the surrender terms and, instead, wasted days (weeks?) consulting with the winning side?
We're getting around to talking to the losers. If it's the order you're curious about, Matt answered for me:
Because that's how Ramirus works. He probably started working with those on his "side" that he felt closest with, once he gained their support he slowly worked on others. Now he'll start putting out feelers to people tied to but not actually part of the alliances on our "side" that he wishes to see sign. He'll hope to convince them slowly, in private query of course promising the whole world is behind his wishes (or at least the weight of certain large alliances). He'll continue pedaling his !@#$%^&* to anyone that will listen until finally he hopes to convince TOP then IRON/DAWN. Feel free to see if this is how things play out. I may be completely wrong, then again maybe not.
That's pretty much it, yeah. The Grämlins have audaciously engaged in perhaps the first case EVER of talking to our friends before talking to our enemies. No one has EVER done such a thing before. We're such visionaries!
 13.
In my view the lesson in the Prince is not power at any price - which is usually the interpretation given to it. It is how to be a good Prince and how to hold on to power for the good of the realm. A nuance which is often missed.
Schatt, looks like someone actually DID read at least "The Prince" (unless this interpretation is in a Wiki article somewhere...that's where most of you get your information from). Canuck, good start...PM me if you'd like a summer reading list to continue your studies.
 14.
Well, saying that they were to blame for an admittedly pretty revealing oversight like this is rather insulting, you know.
It was my oversight, not theirs, as you well know since I told you directly. Their mistake was in leaking it, which isn't a big deal since everyone has seen the corrected version now, and just about everyone agrees with it. Again, more information you already know. This is like if I told you my real name was John, and you came here to say "Ramirus' real name is David!" It's called 'lying'.
 15.
Perhaps I should have edited in the part where you threw Fark and MatthewPK under the bus to explain the context?
Fark leaked the first draft of it to IRON...a mistake for sure, but they're helping us like everyone else; a mistake doesn't mean we're "throwing them under the bus". And I just called MatthewPK crazy...that's hardly "throwing him under the bus" either. He -is- crazy, you know.
That being said, I apologize for misrepresenting your argument, let me go edit it out.
Apology accepted. Thanks.
