Of course, you never asked them their opinion before you "bestowed" your culture on them, did you? Attempting to cover up your colonization for some rocks that are of strategic location is obvious and distasteful.

How could they become a key element? You plan on colonizing the west cost of Africa as well? As for Venezuela, we freely admit it is in our position for the abundant amount of oil present.

OOC: Unfortunately, this RP is not in line with the main RP world, and therefore, he can't have Sweden, so is this RP canon or non-canon, because if it is the former, you better RP properly, and if it is the latter, than no Sweden for him because I will easily crush you the same way.

"Greenland was already a part of our nation, however, it was autonomous, we currently have 1000 troops deployed in the island chain to protect it. We really don't want this to turn violent, we just want to help make the islands great, and a key part of the Swedish Empire economy."
