  1. Meh. History with Maroon seems to be a path of repetition. There always seems to be one alliance on the sphere that the rest of the sphere can't stomach (even if they deny such a state publically). Maroon is rarely a united sphere, so much as a mostly united sphere. Sadly it seems as though the lone wolf on the team is now USN. Best of luck to them.

There is nobody on Maroon who "can't stomach" USN. We love USN and are saddened by the fork in the road that has made most of us go down one path and USN go down another. That doesn't mean the road isn't connected and that paths won't merge again.

So many out there seem to be trying to set this up as a "Majority of Maroon vs USN" conflict. It isn't. It can't be explained more clearly than that.

  2. There's nothing wrong with moving away from a color sphere's FA policies if they don't agree with their feelings. IRAN isn't a part of NOIR for reason that they believe are very valid, as do I. MASH acted independently of purple, another fairly united color sphere, and attacked GGA to the delight of most of you. USN moves away and it's them being jerks. I saw USN defend CSN when GATO was attacked, I know for a fact they are an honorable bunch and trust their judgement here. If maroon can't respect that then I don't think it's USN's fault.

    Also, none taken. ;)

For the longest time we at CSN looked at USN as our bestest friends. Things change. We don't spend EVERY weekend together now; some new kids moved onto the block and now there are just more things to consider. (Ok, that might be a bad metaphor, but just go with it). We still love USN and we still see USN as our friends. Sheesh, there might even be some inbreeding happening between USN and CSN (we can't always tell who is a member of what alliance). Please don't paint maroon as picking on USN. Especially don't call CSN out (I don't believe you did this intentionally, but there is an implication there); CSN knows the honor USN carries. We understand that USN must do what they must do; that doesn't make us any less sad about it. Don't mistake our sadness for anger. Don't try to stir up trouble; it just makes you looks silly.

  3. o/ RIA!

    o/ CSN

    The Commonwealth has gone INSANE!

I believe that happened around this time last year. What you see here is our insanity manifesting itself in a delightful way.

Also, AT is evil (He said I couldn't say nice things about him because I was spoiling his good name; he also threaten to shoot me in the back of the head executioner style if I continued to "ruin" his evil reputation).

Also, Also, AT, I have a fine plan for the theft of Memorial day. Now, all we need is two glazed doghnuts and a bottle of something, to go.

  4. we have no need for cookies when there is a never ending supply of bacon and drinking of farkistan beer... along with wimminz... so cookies can be sacrificed to the Great Heretic A_T

So we're back to proclaiming how evil AT is?

He said he would shoot me in the back of the head if he caught me ruining his repuation in public again.

I told you he was the nicest guy in CSN. :D

edit: my fingers didn't work right the first time.

  5. Err.... I don't get it?

We made no threats, GDA and CSN are both happy about how all issues brought up in this thread were resolved and are simply addressing the concerns of one disgruntled member jointly. We have refuted all the evidence provided numerous times, with confirmation from GDA officials. Unless you're implying that Rajistani is the "opponent" that you refer to several times here, you're totally off base. CSN and GDA government have nothing but respect for each other as has been emphasized numerous times by both governments IN THIS THREAD.

I guess I could make a list myself though:

    • Apparent inability to read the thread and take stock of all facts presented - done!
    • Selected ignorance of evidence presented which refutes the original statements - done!
    • Desire to make a complete non-issue between two governments into something that it isn't - done!
    • Extreme stretching of the facts in order to compare them to the supposed evils of the former Hegemony - done!
    • Criticism of the alliances involved made clearly without knowledge of either party in pursuit of your own geopolitical agenda - done!

See, making lists of the evils of your "opponent" is so easy anyone can do it!

    BAD CSN.

    YES!

    BAD CSN

  6. As a division leader, I received and disseminated lists after they had already been messaged with warnings about compliance. You don't send target lists to the military folk if you haven't already gone through hoops of warnings and reminders. You could've used your own head to get that one.

At the point I was talking about (divvying up who goes where), they had already been warned and GDA been notified.

As the lead of another division, I can attest to this.

  7. I just wanted the nation(s) who was/were attacked (that were already decommed) reimbursed. I was told no, and it was implied that i should "do something about it" (sarcastically of course, since there was nothing I could do pixel-wise)... so I did this.

Look man. Get over it. Vyper clearly made a mistake with the last sentence in that message; I'm sure (but have no evidence) that it was done late at night and he had simply copied and pasted messages and somehow got befuddled. Vyper, was at least courageous enough to admit he made a mistake and make his applogies. He has made amends. It seems as though everybody else has made amends. It is time for you to do so as well.

Instead of carrying on like this, allowing yourself, nay forcing yourself into a position from which you will be made a mockery, just suck it up and move on. You tried to make your point. Few people seem to agree with you. Those who do agree with you about the last sentence in Vyper's message see the sense of the situation and are willing to accept that mistakes are ok if they are actual mistakes (sorry if that last part is a bit convoluted).

I'm just not gonna sit down and take it, can't speak for sippy since she apparently thinks worshipping those who aided in her destruction of GDA is good.

So, because you were unable to get your way, you are going to call out your leaders in a public forum? Good show mate. I personally do not believe that plan is feasible. It will lead to heartache and a quick loss of friends. As for the "I'm not gonna sit down and take it" part. We're waiting.

I was trying to be civil here, but the further I get into this post the more I realize how silly it is to try and reason with you. Enjoy your nation. I hope you prosper, but fear your rantings will get you into trouble.

    Good luck.

Edit: I don't usually bother to proofread the Internet, but I saw that I had written "hear" instead of "here" and knew it would haunt me for days and days and days.

  8. Now that the firing squads have done their jobs, and we, the general populace at CSN, know our proper places (under the bed of course) when Goose and his cronies march through, I believe it is time to call for one important item, one that was somehow left off the agenda.

    All together now....

    Group HUGGLE OF GOOSE!

  9. I look at TE as a place where I can be impolite. I can call people morons when I think they are. When I am attacked, I don't have to have diplomacy; I can be arrogant and belligerant. When I attack, I do so for one purpose and that is to win. You did nothing wrong; on the other hand, there was nothing wrong with the righteous anger of the guy you attacked. That is the great part of TE.

  10. GDA, I won't claim to know what you represent (please forgive me my ignorance, as I tend to ignor most CN politics until I precieve a possible threat) but I applaud you on your attempt at moderation. Hopefully this works before war erupts and bandwagoning begins, pulling alliance after alliance into destruction.

    Nicely stated.

  11. As with many in CSN, I can say that this war was my first. I am flattered the number of nations who have called us honorable, both publicly in these forums and through PM's. I think that we learned lots from this war, but one thing will stick in my mind for the rest of my time on Planet Bob. The best thing about this war is the number of nations with whom I did battle who were willing to engage in witty banter and acted with honor themselves. Let's hope all future wars (God, I pray CSN isn't involved  ) are as amicable and even as fun as this war has been.

    So I say:

    Hail Honorable Opponents

    and

    Hail Honorable Peace Terms

(also, I hope the gag order has been removed, as I didn't check before I started typing....... ;) )

edit because spelling isn't my strength
