The bonds between two alliances like NEAT and the LSF, both direct democracies, take on a supremely intimate character when it's not a matter of governments sitting down with governmets and hashing things out, often without their own citizens being the wiser until the decision is made. Rather, the brotherhood and camaraderie between two general bodies that interface collectively can often blur the distinctions between the two, especially when they find common purpose, despite their unique identities.

NEAT and the LSF have much in common. We also have our own unique histories and paths in life. We can, however, see that our paths are growing inextricably closer, and as a result, I'm pleased to announce the next step forward for Liberty on Bob.

PON RAUL ACCORDS

Sovereignty - ArticleI

Nations Empowered Against Totalitarianism (henceforth known as NEAT) and the Libertarian Socialist Federation (henceforth known as the LSF) are independent alliances and will not infringe on the sovereignty of the other.

Non-Aggression - Article II

NEAT and LSF agree not to hold aggressive actions toward each other.

Mutual Defence - Article III

An attack on one signatory alliance will be considered as an attack on both and shall be treated as such by the other signatory. In the event either signatory declares war via activation of a clause from another treaty, and therefore requests the other signatory's assistance after coming under attack, the mandatory defence is then considered an optional defence.

Optional Aggression - Article IV

Nations cannot be free while under the threat of war. For this reason, even defensive alliances may find it necessary to take the initiative. In the event that one signatory alliance decides it's necessary to take the initiative to protect their Liberty, they reserve the right to request aid from the latter alliance of this treaty. The latter is encouraged but, not required, to respond to the request by any means possible, including military, financial, and diplomatic aid.

Intelligence and Espionage - Article V

NEAT & LSF will not commit espionage or aid in espionage against the other party. If one signatory learns of, or reasonably suspects espionage against the other signatory, then they shall immediately notify their brothers of this pact immediately.

Cancellation - Article VI

Should either signatory wish to exterminate this treaty, they should notify their fellow signatory and, after 48 hours from notification, this treaty will be null and void.

Glad to see that this has finally happened. Two of INT's most reliable allies have finally made it to third base!
