In the end we have come to the conclusion that we are not at all convinced by the motives posted by Grub in his declaration of war on \m/. If you are interested in our reasoning for this, read the following : FOK believes this war is not what NpO claims it to be. This is not a moral crusade against techraiding nor it is about the devaluation of the morals of this community. This is just NpO taking a shot at one of their old nemesis. This whole war was orchestrated by Grub to take out \m/ and PC whilst doing everything possible to keep their allies out. Negotiations were stalled and even a deadline was given to PC. In short:'If something seems too good to be true, it probably is' In the end, however, this explanation doesn't matter at all. What it comes down to, is that we all have to come down off our high horses. No one holds the absolute truth and no one should claim to have it. The explanation above is simply the one given by FOK, others will have other explanations and other viewpoints. Not one of them is completely right. NpO isn't 'fighting for freedom' as they claim they are and \m/ isn't the victim that some portray it to be. In the end every alliance simply does what is right for themselves. \m/ feels it's their sovereign right to raid, NpO felt it was right for them to intervene and PC felt it was right for them to honor their MDP when their ally was attacked, whatever the reason. This doesn't mean that what they did is wrong, they just did what they felt was right. FOK will do what they feel is right too. In this case, that means not watching our ally PC (one of the most loyal allies one can have) getting massacred at the hands of an alliance whom we feel has orchestrated this whole war from the start. FOK therefore hereby activates the optional Agression, the Defense clausule and/or the general spirit of the treaty with Poison Clan and declares war on the New Polar Order.
