------------------------

Oulu

Taneli Hauta-aho: A veteran from the Ubersteinian army, he is a strong supporter of Uberstein and of the nationalization of military industries. He believes that the boarders should be tightened and that all who oppose "freedom" be removed from the country with force. He has been criticized by his peers for being "too extreme" but believes his proposed measures to be entirely necessary to "Prevent the Nordic threat from becoming one from within."

Mika Vuorela: A man who champions the Norwegian system, and an ex-member of the now defunct Monarchist Party of Finland, he believes that there should be an elected king who establishes the beginning of the Finnish Monarchy. He has remained silent on the other issues.

Pekka Härkänen: Grew up in Russany, he claims that "life was better back then" and that Finland should become Council-Communist. He has been denounced for ignoring the many issues that Russany had, including the inefficient command economy that led to it's downfall.

Lapland

Aila Heiskanen: The younger sister of Petri Heiskanen, she views the idea of welfare as dangerous. "If we start to provide for these people with no incentive for them to work for themselves, what's to stop everyone from becoming welfare families?" is a popular quote of hers in newspapers. She believes the current Equal Opportunity programs should be expanded so that personal recommendations will have more of a say in who gets scholarships.

Kim Hintikka: An ex-member of the Fascist party of Finland, he says he has reformed and knows that his views were too extreme. He demands more government-given jobs and regulation in the economy, and that the country should have a state sponsored religion.

Johan Jokihaara: An outspoken critic of Uberstein, Johan is known as one of the more vocal members of the Communist Party. He demands equal shares for all types of jobs and that all industry be nationalized. He claims to have a 10-year plan, in which all people will own their own car, plane, and house.

Åland

Vesa Parras: The Ex-CEO of a subdivision of Mariehamm Arms, Turku Small Arms Inc, he claims he "knows how to keep things profitable." He has spoken out against Uberstein on occasion, and believes the army should be reorganized into a force capable of actual offense instead of a highly-flexible defensive force. He has been called a warmonger but denounces these claims, saying that it is best for Finland if it can back up it's words with military might.

Otto Rasimus: A long time member of the Liberal Party of Finland, he claims that people should "watch what they say and avoid being offensive" and that all citizens should attend sensitivity training. He believes that freedom of religion is necessary, but would prefer not to talk about such controversial subjects. He has been called a "Crybaby" by Uberstein personally, and has not left his house since.

Pekka Tuulola: Originally a member of the Liberal Party, he claims his more "equalratric" views came to him when he was blessed by a crowbar to the head. He advocates the legalization of "Everything that the sun shines on" and that "goldfish should be people too."

OOC: Written at 11:00 at night while watching Dawn of the Dead. :P

EDIT: This is why I shouldn't write things at 11:00 pm, because I make typos. Stupid firefox spellcheck saying Offensive = Offenbach

"While the Rheinmark would naturally support the most conservative party, we wish there was a true conservative party here. One that follows both conservative economy as well as social value."

"The Republican-Ubersteinist party follows conservative economics but has modern values of freedom and liberty. It is not the government's job to tell people what they can do in their own homes." -Spokesperson and founder of the Republican-Ubersteinist party, President Uberstein.

OOC: Think Libertarian party with more economic regulation.

IC:

Republican-Ubersteinist party leaders and supporters,

We, the people of the Federal Republic of America, support you. Anyone that embodies modern values such as freedom, a non-aggression philosophy, and pursuit of freedom, happiness, and equality, is a friend of ours. While some of the candidates worry us, the party ideology is one in which we fully endorse-- it is as if the LPFRA and the Progressive Way have merged the best of their ideas into one party for all free men!

The Republicans understand one thing: We are not machine men, with machine hearts and machine minds! We are not pieces for the government to toy with, like pawns on a chessboard! We are human beings god dammit, our lives have value! We deserve our freedoms! We deserve our rights!

Republican-Ubersteinist philosophy is the complete embodiment of what it means to be free! Hail! If it is legal, we would be more than happy to provide contributions.
