From the Ice

A ship had left Port Dranagg, slowly approaching a certain location, 66°16′54.5″S 110°31′39.4″E to be exact.

A station was already there, ready to receive people. As the Cross of Saint George came up, a broadcast was released to the world.

"New Anglica is reborn, in the land of ice and mist."

OOC: Location is the Antarctic coast between the Cochin and Vauleo-Buryatian territories.

Also, Angela isn't with this new nation..... yet.

In Taeunas' capitol, there was a collective groan that could be heard as several hundred military and foreign officials heard the news. President DeSchaine had this to say as he stood over the TV in his office... one with a new set of bullet holes from the borrowed semi auto handgun he was holding "Here we go again."

OOC: you have no planes, and no cruise missiles, in game. So none in RP either.

IC:

A two bills were sent to the new nation from Port Dranagg. One from a landlord there charging rent on several buildings, and the other from Port Authority for ship fees. Also a letter of "Welcome to Antarctica" was included.

OOC: Planes, I agree. But cruise missiles are not required IG to have them here. Instead, IG cruise missiles represent biological/chemical weapons.

The bill was paid.

Using some of the gold that was ripped from Solidor Manor when some troops were sacking the house.

OOC ive got planes AND cruise missiles. i bought 1 of each just after the post.

and i was to understand bio/chem weapons are counted by your IG cruise missile count.

so 1 bomber and 1 missiles = 1 bio weapon :)

OOC: So now you can have 1 chem-armed missile and 1 plane.

Private

Long-range bombers and fighter-bombers were prepped for takeoff and a mission over Antarctica. They were unmarked and were given orders to fly under cloud cover before and after leaving Carthage. The mission was a success in leaving, and by the time they had left Carthage and were simply over unclaimed Atlantic territory they were simply twelve squadrons of bombers and fighter-bombers.

The bombers streamed over the Antarctic waters and readied their bombs. New Anglica had no AA defenses and had not developed any military of any kind. If there were requests to back down, they were ignored. The twelve squadrons unleashed their payload on the station and whatever ships had docked in the port. As no other buildings had been developed there were no other targets.

After unleashing the payload, the planes flew back out over international waters.

Long range Malvinian AA defences in its Antarctic lands were placed on red alert, same on its protectorate and the mainland.

The Radar operators on the next shift realised what it was on the radar but it was to late for any warning.

whoevers the bombers were they had hit their target and were already hightailing it back over the Atlantic.

"damn whoever owns those bombers has got balls of steel"

XX Classified XX

Station Gangothri

Antarctica

The Air Defense Controller said,"Sir, we track multiple bogeys inbound. They have the radar characteristics of Carthage Air Force Bombers. They are currently flying over international waters, however heading towards our general direction."

The Duty officer said, "Launch a flight of interceptors."

4 JM2 fighter bombers scrambled into the air to interdict the bombers if they ventured into the Cochin Air Space. However the bombers were observed to maintain to International Air Space.

"Sir, that force is inbound towards the New Anglican territory. Do we interdict them while they return? We can splash them quite easily," the Cntroller asked.

The RCAF Colonel who had duty of this section had conferred with his command staff and replied, "No. We do not acknowledge this act now. The radar tracks are clear as to who it is, right?"

"Yes, Sir."

"Order the fighters to maintain patrol and see to it that the Carthage bombers do not enter our air space. Otherwise do nothing."

<Carthage\Air Base Morocco>

"Where in the hell are my F-46s?"

"I-I-I don't know, sir!"

"Where the hell are my NG-218s? Don't answer that, you don't !@#$@#$ know!"

An unnamed Colonel was raging rather hard - most of his bombers had taken off, and these weren't exactly cheap bombers either. More importantly, they had not checked in with him and had not been given orders to leave. A lockdown on all other NG-218 and F-46 squadrons was enforced and three F-22 wings were activated and set to patrol the Carthaginian borders. The Colonel, after several hours, gave the decision to activate the "Killswitch" on the missing planes.

<Socotra>

The squadrons sailed over Socotra in blatant violation of the no-fly-zone policy, and were quickly fired upon by coastal AA batteries. Despite the action taken, all of the planes escaped unharmed. A warning was sent up to Novak - hostiles were headed for the border.

However, the warning never made it out. The glitchy equipment that had been rushed in was inoperable and the planes managed to escape into the Novakian border. Whatever the mission was, however, nobody would find out - all of the planes crashed into mountains and the pilots ejected over still-radioactive territory in Yemen. The pilots, unable to figure out why all of their planes had simultaneously failed at the same moment, quickly gathered themselves up and headed for the coast.

//Voodoo said I could crash the planes into his mountains :v:
