However, despite this, the majority of the economic activity still consists of farming. With the national capital in the Central Territories, tourism makes up a large part of the economy as well. The Indus River serves as a minor transportation route for goods and people in the Territory, but most of the travel still consists of cars and trains. Small mining operations have sprung up over the territory, but they are nowhere near as large as those in other parts of the country.
