Article VIIIf an alliance decides to cancel this agreement, it must give the other party 96 hours notice prior to the official cancellation, during which all articles will be upheld. Chickenzilla
I did not see this coming. Honestly, I had no idea. I like TORN and OV though, so best of luck to the both of them. Edited March 23, 2009 by Chickenzilla
Earogema
Completed unexpected, yet at the same time, not unexpected at all. I wonder what this means for TORN and VE?

Big Z
Disappointing to see. Hopefully the relationship between our allies at OV and TORN can be repaired.

Cornelius
Sad to see such stalwart allies as these two part ways. Good luck to our friends in OV and TORN.
Ragashingo
...sincerely wish the best to Ordo Verde in the future. No you don't. If you really sincerely wished them the best you'd be maxing out your aid slots sending them soldiers and tech and cash, not canceling a treaty with them. bigwoody
No you don't. If you really sincerely wished them the best you'd be maxing out your aid slots sending them soldiers and tech and cash, not canceling a treaty with them. It is entirely possible that while our relationship as it was had become untenable, we do sincerely hope they find prosperity in the future. Your comments betray a significant level of ignorance. Quinoa Rex
No you don't. If you really sincerely wished them the best you'd be maxing out your aid slots sending them soldiers and tech and cash, not canceling a treaty with them. As far as TORN is concerned, cancellation of a treaty implies no ill will.
Dani C
I must say, I could never have asked for better allies than TORN, and it's truly a shame this has taken place. I wish them the best of luck in the future.
Lyria
I can only imagine what it takes to get TORN to cancel a treaty with a former protectorate. This is sad to see.
Il Impero Romano
I am particularly saddened to see this. Woody, you know you have my respect. OV, you know you are my brothers.

Coursca
Unfortunate news to hear -- I know that for a while, OV and TORN were very close friends. Best of luck in the future to our allies in TORN and to OV.
DerekJones
No you don't. If you really sincerely wished them the best you'd be maxing out your aid slots sending them soldiers and tech and cash, not canceling a treaty with them. Them's fightin' wordz! It's too bad to see this happen, but I hope everything works out for both these alliances.
Sileath
I concur that just because TORN is canceling a treaty, it does not automatically indicate a CB is forthcoming. Best of luck to both of you. |-o-| TORN |-o-| OV
Uralica
This came outta left field. Good luck to TORN and OV, I guess. Wow...

bigwoody
I concur that just because TORN is canceling a treaty, it does not automatically indicate a CB is forthcoming. Indeed, anyone who knows either of us knows this is not how we operate. We choose our friends better than that.
Mogar
I'm interested by this, might we be expecting a few more cancellations?
Balder
This seems rather odd to me. Am I to assume that this TORN .gov will give us no actual reasoning for the cancellation?
