Rebel Virginia
Swiss-Austrian Border, Vektarian Empire - In a border town in Austria the 337 Rebel Virginia citizens expelled from Gebiv gathered. They had been taken to a Vektarian base, armed with AK-47s and RPGs, and provided with basic military training. Shortly afterwards they broke away from the main group at the Vektarian base for "practice operations." Instead they went to the nearest bar to get drinks. They were angry with Gebiv, and they were not afraid to show it. "I was in the middle of a movie when they made me leave!" shouted one man. "How will I ever know how the Sixth Sense ends now? "Bruce Willis was a ghost." explained another. "You ruined it for me. Spoiler." the first man angrily replied. He punched the man and a massive brawl followed, until..... "Silence!" proclaimed a most regal man, in a pink polo shirt with multiple popped collars, and expensive sunglasses. He jumped onto the bar, and his trusted friend followed. These were Brad "Milk Man" McNewton and Anthony "Antonio" Alder. Most people people regarded them as clowns, but tonight they would make something of themselves. Tonight they would find glory. Brad McNewton Anthony Alder "What do these jokers have to say?" inquired a portly gentleman in the crowd to another portly gentleman. He had no answer. Brad McNewton began speaking again, and they listened intently. "Gebiv ruined many of our plans in Gebiv." he began. "I know a lot of you bros were on business and stuff, and me and my bro were there chilling when suddenly Gebiv says 'no get out you ain't chilling no more' and I didn't like that cause I was chilling. You get?" "What's your point?" inquired yet another portly and moustached gentleman. "Let's go trash their stuff!" McNewton answered. He received no response, and they Rebel Virginians simply continued drinking. Throughout the night though, they grew more confident, and ultimately they all agreed. They were going to war with Gebiv, and they would attack the nearest ski resort town they found. Operation Shadowhand is what they agreed to call it, but it was more of a drunken rabble than anything else. Either way, they knew what they had to do, and they would do it for the glory of Lemuria. Chancellor Bismarck
The people of Confucianism, upon hearing of this, proceeded to bash in termite mounds with big gigantic sticks. Hopefully, after a few days, Confucianism will be completely free of termites, and our houses will be forever safe. They also sent big baskets of flowers in canoes up to RV's territory to give them peace. They invite RV's people to enjoy in the festivites and sun of Confucianism once the war is over, and offer medical relief supplies to help heal the damage. Two people met in a Confucianism bar and had a few drinks. The result was the bashing in of termite mounds that had nothing to do with whatever might be happening in RV land. Besides, that place is a myth, right? Life proceeded as normal, except for a lack of termite mounds, and an increase of people swimming. SkiingGuru1611
Tuland will closely watch this situation as it progresses. Our military is already in a State of Readiness, should we find the need of military force necessary. OCC: Wasn't thinking when I posted this. Ignore the striked-out text. Rebel Virginia
OOC: Unless you happen to be spying a Vektarian bar you probably don't know this. Did I really have to put that in the OP? Well, anyway, now you know.

Gebiv
OOC: Using a Vektarian base will not end well. Also, you won't find many skii resorts on the Swiss-Austrian border. The border of those two isn't the alps. You're on the wrong side of Switzerland if you're looking for skii resorts. Rebel Virginia
Büchel, Switzerland, Gebiv - The drunken rabble crossed the border. Armed with AK-47s, RPGs, and some with Molotov $@tails they quickly opened fire on anything they saw. Any unlucky citizens in the street would find themselves under fire from the assault rifles. Cars were destroyed by RPGs, and some buildings also found themselves under fire from RPGs. Windows were shot out and Molotov $@tails were thrown into the buildings. It was a most glorious sight. Expecting retaliation from the military and police, the men took cover. Hopefully they would be able to retreat back into Austria alive. Malatose
A large Vektarian Military Convoy was heading to the border to participate in the military exercises taking place. In the lead armoured vehicle, Colonel Jadek looked over the roll call sheet of the various men in the group. However, he noticed a slight oddity, according to his list there were supposed to be three hundred Virginians in the convoy but to his surprise there were none. "HALT THE CONVOY!" Jadek yelled over the helmet intercom systems One after another, the vehicles in the convoy slowed to a stop. Colonel Jadek exited his vehicle. "Well, it would appear our Virginian friends have decided to take a "small vacation." Jadek said to himself as he looked over his personnel sheet. "Colonel, sir, what should we do?" a lone soldier said, glancing over in the nearby woods. "Are you seriously asking me that question? What do you think? Go on Alert and search." Jadek ordered as he took off his helmet. Jadek turned around, shaking his head as he walked towards his lead command infantry fighting vehicle. There, he pushed the button on his helmet intercom and opened a direct line of communication to General Joseph Lente. "General, sir, the Virginians have decided to take a small "vacation". We are currently searching." Jadek said. "Find them.." Lente said as he sighed and he closed the communication link immediantly. "Well, atleast our little exercise is going according to plan. God, I hope our Autarch knows what he's doing." Lente said as he looked out his window.
Gebiv
Unfortunately for the Virginians, the local military was prepared. 20,000 soldiers were capable of arriving at the scene within 15 minutes, with some more reinforcements from Ile de Noir not too far behind. As per diplomatic protocol, they requested permission to pursue into Vektaria if needed, although the chances of the making it through the city walls in this situation were astronomically slim. Rebel Virginia
It was a glorious fifteen minutes for the Rebel Virginians, until they noticed Gebivian soldiers marching towards the town. "Retreat!" ordered the Milk Man and Antonio. The Rebel Virginians began to make their way back to the border. It was only 500 ft to river, and they all made it. They began swimming in the ice cold water, but by the time the soldier arrived most of them were only half way across the river. It was a massacre. One hundred and fifty of them were gunned down. The rest, fortunately, were able to retreat back into Austria, where they would dry off, resupply themselves, and strike again at another small town. Once he was safe, and beyond Gebiv rifle range, the Milk Man looked. "Lemuria forever!" he cried defiantly. He would return.
Gebiv
If only they were so fortunate. While 150 had been gunned down, another 27 had been run over by tanks in the streets. Very fast, former Nordland Tanks. They were instructed to not fire, but rather, to run over every Virginian they could find. Sadly, there were not too many around to be found. Rebel Virginia
The one hundred sixty survivors arrived on shore safely. "Too the bridge!" commanded Milk Man. "Let's blow it up." The only crossing over that river for any distance was that bridge, one mile to the southwest of Büchel. Blowing it up would be a great inconvenience to the locals. So it would be done. The Rebel Virginians reloaded and marched to glory. Edited February 1, 2009 by Rebel Virginia
Malatose
"What? combat close to the border regions?" Lente asked his staff officer. "Yes, sir, we don't know whats going on, exactly." his staff officer replied "Place all Vektarian Forces close to the Italian and Swiss Borders on high alert and begin moving forces close to the border area for security purposes. I don't care what they're currently exercising, tell them to cut off all operations and move!" Lente said as he ordered his staff officer to give the order. As soon as the order was given, Vektarian Troops began to systematically re-deploy to the Austria/Italian and Vektarian/Swiss Border regions. These troops were to remain close to the border regions to protect the Empire from any possible foreign invasion. In his car, General Lente drove to the front, hoping to get the latest on the situation. Everything wasn't going as planned, although he know the actions he'd have to take. Rebel Virginia
"Gebiviananans!" cried Milk Man as he passed a Vektarian patrol. "Lemuria's glory marches on!" Three unsuspecting Vektarians we killed and the Rebel Virginians marched on towards the bridge.
Gebiv
Unknown to them, five of the Virginians had tracking devices planted on them. These tracking devices were fired by snipers via bullets. The goal was to have a few of the soldiers have a tracking device in them, thinking it was shrapnel. The tracking device would kill eventually, however. The Gebivian soldiers, however, did not follow them to their obvious target. They held position on their side, and fortified, waiting for the Prince to arrive in about 1 hour. Low-ordinance bombers were called in. Rebel Virginia
The Rebel Virginians took cover in the forest along the Austria side of the river. RPGs were loaded and fired at the bring and other targets along the Swiss shore. Houses and soldiers included. Seeing as this was Vektarian territory, the Rebel Virginians were safe from reprisal. Gebiv
The Gebivians would not let them hide in Austria. Snipers in the houses fired back, killing several of the RPG firers. However, in the process, 7 snipers were lost from the fire, along with about 20 civilians. They were ordered to cease fire should the Virginians retreat. Rebel Virginia
Fifteen Rebel Virginians were killed, with many more wounded. They would continue to fight, however. The RPGs were reloaded and fired in the direction of the snipers. "Lemuria prevails!" shouted Milk Man. "Forever!" shouted Antonio in response. The remainder of the Rebel Virginians lifted up there arms and fired into the there. Gebiv would not win, and the world would remember the few who stood up to the many. Malatose
The situation on the border soon became intense as a massive firefight broke out between Vektarian troops and some unknown suspects. The soldiers quickly returned fire, but the end result was 3 wounded and 3 dead. Upon learning of this, troops were ordered to return fire if fired upon using all means at their disposal. This doctrine would soon be executed in Austria. On the Austrian/Swiss Border, Vektarian troops soon become under fire from suspected snipers. German troops quickly responded with automatic and sniper fire of their own. The situation was quickly forwarded to Autarch Scolar Visari's office. "Sir, Vektarian Troops are under fire on the Austrian/Swiss Border." the Vektarian Minister of Defense said to the Autarch. "Whos involved?" he said, looking through the report of the three casualties substained from the local firefight. "Sir, we don't know, although we have good word the swiss are involved.." the MoD replied. "The nerves of these people..You may respond in kind to this MoD" the Autarch said as he left his office in a hurry. On the border, Vektarian Troops continued to return random fire at the suspects. On the roads, Vektarian SPA were being moved up to respond, incase the border battle didn't end soon. The Vektarian Airforce was also put on alert. Rebel Virginia
The Rebel Virginians were victorious. They had destroyed the bridge, suffering few losses. The one hundred and forty five Rebel Virginians marched up the road, they were off to find their next target.
Gebiv
A conversation between two Gebivian Assassins stationed in Switzerland, "You know, we'll be reaching the border in 10 minutes. The Prince isn't far behind. How many targets do you think you'll hit today?" "I dunno. It's just so odd knowing they used to live in our country. I think I can get 15 of them." "Guess I'll be taking 16, then." "You're on."
Rebel Virginia
Mäder, Austria, Vektaria - The Rebel Virginians took position in a field outside the small Austrian town of Mäder. All 145 of them were armed and had plenty of ammo left. Trash cans were taken from the town to serve as makeshift defenses. RPGs were loaded at fired at the small village of Kriessern, Switzerland. Any target, military or civilian, would be destroyed. "Lemuria prevails!" they all shouted on Milk Man's command. That was their battle cry, and it would be heard. Malatose
Berlin, Germany Inside of the Visari Imperial Palace, Autarch Scolar Visari summoned all his top officials. The subject of the meeting was simple; they were to figure out what to do about the current situation in the southern Vektarian Empire. Visari looked through all the reports that were being sent to him. In one report he read that three soldiers were wounded while another three were killed. According to anothe report, the light border skirmishes were still continuing, with Vektarian soldiers returning fire around the clock. In Visari's mind, this situation could explode at any moment, and it was clearly an act of aggression by the nation of Gebiv. Adding fuel to his anger, Visari had recently received an encrypted telegram from Gebiv requesting access to their airspace to attack an "enemy". While this would seem like a small matter to anyone else, he felt his intelligence to be greatly insulted. Attack his soldiers and now request access to his airspace to do more destruction? Over his dead body. Therefore, he immediantly replied in with a quick and simple "Denied" and until further notice, all Gebiv citizens in the Empire will be asked to leave the country within 48 hours. He also sent a telegram to the nation. He also sent a telegram to Gebiv demanding an explanation for this unprovoked attack which resulted in the death and injuries of six serviceman. In the meantime, the entire Vektarian National Defense Force on the Gebiv border was placed on high alert. The tanks were fueled, the soldiers were prepared and the aircraft were already being given target designations. In the meantime, the two hundred thousand strong national defense reserve force was being activated to guard the country from any other possible attacks. From his command post, General Josef Lente, Commander of all Vektarian Troops in the South, looked over the current situation. His mind was racing thinking of the possible upcoming conflict, but he kept his cool around his men, hoping to instill only confidence in them. **Reminder of Forces** 200,000 Vektarian Troops to Hungary/Slovenia + 2,000 Tanks 50,000 Vektarian Troops positioned at the Austrian/Slovenia Border + 500 50,000 Troops to Austria + 100 Tanks 50,000 Austrian/Italian Border Regions + 100 Tanks Edited February 1, 2009 by Malatose
