1) show me one SRA member complaining?  I have seen taunting.  I have seen asshatery.  I have even seen, shockingly, logic.  However, I have seen no complaints by SRA members in this thread.

2) as for attacks on MI6, proof, or you are full of it.

After being away from the office for the last 35 hours and returning to peruse this thread, I thought it prudent to offer the

 

 

OFFICIAL RED ASS CLARIFICATION ON WHATEVER THE HELL THIS IS

 

1.  The Screaming Red Asses, having ridden for some time as a one-man micro, do in fact recognize Pee Wee's Playhouse as an alliance.

 

2.  The Red Asses do not raid for tech by policy.  We do sanction the occasional "grudge raid", however.  It look like this is what the attack on MitchellBlade was.

 

3. We recognize the protection Pee Wee's Playhouse of Los Pollos Hermanos.  The raid against Pee Wee should not have occurred given this protection, which was properly announced on the OWF. Los Pollos Hermanos protecting their protectorate in such a case is expected and justified.

 

4.  This is obviated by the fact that Pee Wee's playhouse attacked our ally Kaskus.  Normally, we would let Kaskus handle such an incident, but since they are currently engaged in war, we would have taken this action regardless of the protection.

 

TL;DR: Whatever errors occurred in the raid on Pee Wee's playhouse are rendered moot by the current situation, leaving us with the following options:

 

1.  If Los Pollos Hermanos was protecting Pee Wee's playhouse due to a perceived raid, we understand and can walk away from our engagement with them with our apologies. You protection announcement was honestly overlooked.

 

2.  If Los Pollos Hermanos would like to enter into war with the Screaming Red Asses in spite of Pee Wee's attack on Kaskus, we are happy to recognize hostilities with LPH and continue on the course we are currently following.

 

3.   In either case, if I read the OP correctly, Pee Wee's Playhouse has declared war on SRA.  We recognize this state of hostilities. 

 

As I am currently at a facility that prohibits IRC use, and my access to these forums may also be limited. If a message clarifying LPH's position could be sent to me in-game, I will get the message out to my AA, and we can proceed as you wish.

For those of us who take what's actually possilbe into account when handing out punishments (as opposed to threats that can't be followed up upon by any stretch of the imagination), there isn't a difference. 

 

Regardless, however - I only said it was interesting.  MI6 is free to hand out PZI's and cause their alliance a ton of future headache (ask NPO why I'd say that) if that's what they decide.

Just so it is official: after more diplomacy than takes place in the peace negotiations of your average coalition war, Pee Wee's Playhouse has elected to continue hostilities against Kaskus, Los Pollos Hermanos has elected to continue protecting them in light of this, and the Screaming Red Asses have elected to officially recognize the ongoing state of war with both parties.  We're all doing what we feel we must, and no one is butthurt.  Were this war a featured video on your favorite internet porn site, you would find it under the "Mature" category.

Yeah, I don't think we're really all that relevant :P

And to pre-empt the eighth or ninth question as to why I protected masta: I feel as if Kaskus should have been able to handle him theirselves, due in part to Kaskus' new wave of ghosts and MI6 being smart cookies on the tactics side of things. They have more than enough in range.

I have zero problem with SRA coming in defense of their ally, it's what allies do. It is not what I would have done given the situation (look at me, making it sound like this is more than one nation we're talking about. Masta could be on Jersey Shore)

I'll point out one more time, as Xanth has admitted, the raid had nothing to do with Kaskus; he really was ignorant that Masta had hit Kaskus (that part is just coincidental).  The raid had everything to do with Masta needing to get hit for being Masta.  As for LPH protecting Masta, Xanth was also ignorant of that fact as well.  Neither Xanth, nor SRA, is not claiming that ignorance is an excuse or a defense.  Taken literally, we don't like Masta.  I wish I was someplace in range.  That said, Xanth admitted fault and has offered diplomatic means to end the stupidity of this shindig.  Notobdy in Pee Wee or LPH seems to mind taking a beating, but when they are done, the door is open.
