The glimmering light of brighter days shines at our backs. The bonds of friendship and brotherhood tie us to one another and unite us in common purpose. We know we are arrayed against the most vile, most cowardly lot on the face of our fine planet. We know that they seek nothing but the utter domination of our friends and allies and are willing to forgo precedent and honor to achieve their goals. Cowards and cretins all! You do not scare us! We have, all of us, stood before at the utter precipice of destruction and looked unflinchingly into the chasm. We will not allow our friends to go quietly into the night! If we are marked to die we die for each other, and if to live, then the fewer the men the greater the share of honor. Do not underestimate the bonds that form the foundation of our being. We do not covet power or riches, but if it is a sin to covet glory, then we are the most offending souls alive. This story shall we teach our sons and daughters in the ages to come, when we were arrayed against a vile host and we happy few stood with each other, arm in arm, as brothers. Those of us that live on shall remember what feats we do this day and not easily forget those who sought our destruction, while those that swell our ranks in the bright sunshine of the future shall call themselves accursed for not sharing with us in glory of our friends hour of need. Our blood shall be spilled, but it shall be spilled in righteous opposition to the despotic ambitions of our enemies. We, as always, stand with you friends.
