More than seven points lost between them, leading the way in dragging the entire sanction race down nearly a full percentage point. The Mushroom Kingdom doesn't exactly help matters either, coming in third-last by losing more than a point and a half. Tier One does quite well, with both The Legion and Ragnarok gaining a tenth of a point. Tier Two, not so lucky, with the Global Alliance And Treaty Organization being the only one of the six to gain score; the others being led downwards by Athens' sixth-of-a-point drop. And with the exception of The Grämlins (and possibly the Siberian Tiger Alliance), Tier Three looks strong, with Nueva Vida leading the way forward with a quarter-point gain, coming right up close to the North Atlantic Defense Coalition in the process. Didn't realise that TOP lost that much - I must've glanced at someone else's by accident. Both were covered in the top seven comment; anyone who can't see that they lost a !@#$load of score without my pointing it out to them needs more help than I can provide. I didn't feel like doing a particularly long commentary tonight, and I figured TOP and IRON's losses were rather self-evident. It would be rather difficult to hide their results, even if I tried. Anyway, thanks to Gopher's statistics, they only lost 0.5 a point more. Two opposing forces are working here. TOP/IRON/Company get to nuke more people than they get nuked, so SC will get hurt more by nukes. However, SC gets more nations to do ground attacks, CM's, and air attacks, so TOP/IRON/Company will get hurt more conventionally. It looks like right now, conventional hurts a bit more. are a lot more balanced in the upper tiers today, as some of our warring alliances actually manage to sneak out small gains today, including the [color="#48D1CC"][b]Mostly Harmless Alliance[/b][/color] and [color="#48D1CC"][b]Fark[/b][/color]. Particularly notable are the usual superlarge losses by [color="#ff8c00"][b]The Order Of The Paradox[/b][/color], the [color="#ff8c00"][b]Independent Republic Of Orange Nations[/b][/color], and the [color="#48D1CC"][i]Mushroom Kingdom[/i][/color], although all three of those alliances see a smaller drop in score than they did yesterday. Also having a particularly bad day are the sanctioned alliances of the [color="#ff8c00"][b]Orange Defense Network[/b][/color] (dropping three-fifths of a point), the [color="#008000"][b]Viridian Entente[/b][/color] (dropping five nations for two-fifths of a point to fall into 11th place), and [color="#c0c0c0"][b]The Order Of Light[/b][/color] (who drops a quarter-point). The [color="#008000"][b]Green Protection Agency[/b][/color], on the other hand, must enjoy watching us beat the snot out of each other (the Pro Bowl's on a commercial right now), as they balloon upwards by a third of a point, taking the Biggest Gainer title for the last day of the month. (I guess I should do a month-end post as well. Not that a lot of alliances will enjoy their losses.) Tier One is a mixed bag, with the [color="#663300"]Global Alliance And Treaty Organization[/color] gaining a tenth of a point over their first twenty-four hours of war, moving back up into that tier, while [color="#ff8c00"]FOK[/color] loses around a sixth of a point; a feat repeated by both the [color="#800080"]United Purple Nations[/color] and [color="#48D1CC"][i]Athens[/i][/color] in Tier Two. The [color="#00FF00"] [b]Global Radiation Level[/b] [/color] does amazingly well today, gaining nearly three and a half points to squeeze its way into the midst of Tier Two. Tier Three also looks pretty slim on the large gains front; a handful of alliances move upwards slightly, but the only large gain is seen by [color="#0000ff"][i]Nueva Vida[/i][/color], who gains a tenth of a point to move into fourth on the blue alliances list, jumping past the [color="#0000ff"][i]North Atlantic Defense Coalition[/i][/color]. The [color="gold"][i]Federation of Armed Nations[/i][/color] suffers their first large loss since the end of Survivor (and probably only their second large loss of the past two years) - I'm guessing there's a [url="http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?showtopic=79698"]little bit of drama[/url] behind it. The [color="#c0c0c0"][i]Siberian Tiger Alliance[/i][/color] [i]nearly[/i] pulls off a pass on their account.
