Alfred von Tirpitz
I just wanted to throw this out there because I didn't make this clear earlier: Legion, I am extremely happy you declared on us for two reasons. One of these reasons is because I love war, and even if it means getting getting nuked back down to 10K NS again, I am all for it. Do note this doesn't mean I want to see you guys get destroyed completely, which kind of leads into my second reason. Legion, I am glad you stood up for yourselves, truly. People are constantly giving you !@#$ about being a paper tiger, sucking at war, having no balls, et cetera, and I am glad you guys got fed up with it. I have respect for that. Never thought I'd say it, but +1 Legion. Serious post.
Now that is a classy post. The old USMC i know and respect, where have you been this past year or so? Good luck to all three [so far] participants in this here shindig.

Buds The Man
Good for you, for doing something about it, Legion. You know you're walking into a losing fight and you still decided to do something about it. I applaud you for finally standing up for yourselves. You should be proud.

Don't think there's probably ever been a more clear cut CB - 'least not that comes to mind. Enjoy, Legion.
DAMN YOU LEGION im agrreing with Pez and Xiph in the same thread. Good to see you stand up for yourselves. Im still not overly fond of you but hey baby steps in the right direction.
Once again, treaties dont say "we dont defend you if you do something stupid." Just because it worked with UINE for you, doesnt mean, and thankfully so, that we all abandon allies for a bad choice.
Ass Hat clauses are inserted for such cases.
It seems to be agreed by all sides that at no point did Tetris deliberately initiate spying on Legion. I also recall that Tetris punished its government members who participated in the dissemination of the "acquired" information, and they did this without any serious outside coercion, but because they decided it was the correct thing to do. Finally, given that the information released was utterly inconsequential, to the extent that even most of the people on here who vehemently dislike Legion didn't really bother to do much with it, it seems that forcing the issue to an all-out war is nothing more than a foolhardy response to political pressure rather than a rational action in the interests of the Legion. It is nice to see Legion trying to defend itself after so many embarrassments, but this was really not the best place to make your stand.
If they wouldnt have done anything they would continue to be critisized. It seems a loose loose for them. I would rather loose infra and gain a bit of respect than sit and continually take the crap Legion has.

trance addict
Also: At this time, Tetris has 23 of 37 nations in anarchy, and there hasn't been enough time for the nukes to begin. They have lost approximately 10% of their prewar NS. So I think people can stop complaining about the blitz.
10% of their perwar NS likely went here at 43 minutes after update... http://www.cybernations.net/stats_alliance_stats_custom.asp?Alliance=Legion POW 76K NS gone to POW status, now their blitz looks a lot less glorious. Dochartaigh
Ave Legio! Also, I am amused that Legion is winning this war. Yes, we know that Tetris/NSO combined are smaller than Legion in # of nations and amount of NS, but from what I could tell, many were saying it would only take a handful to roll up Legion. Also, I am thoroughly amused that Legion already has a POW from Tetris. I am hoping that all parties involved stay the only parties involved and beat the snot out of one another. Dochartaigh
Tetris is losing NS and already had a nation leave for POW camp, NSO has not done much at all, and Legion continues to gain NS. It is all in the charts on CN itself. Not that hard to find. Tetris- On 10/3 they had 1,060,161 and today are at 970,357 NSO- On 10/3 they had 2,710,425 and today are at 2,800,168 (Though, on 10/2 they were at 2,897,332 so not sure what happened with the 187k drop from 2nd to 3rd) Legion- On 10/3 they had 6,115,728 and today are at 6,158,710 Legion has 41 in anarchy (17%) and 198 not in anarchy NSO has 7 in anarchy (5.5%) and 121 not in anarchy Tetris has 24 in anarchy (65%) and 13 not in anarchy I would say, yes NSO has not been dealt any damage yet and is still quite viable in the fight but Tetris has been hit hard and can launch limited offensive wars back as well as having lost a 76k NS nation to POW status. Combined, the Tetris/NSO has 17 in PM (9 and 8 respectively) which is just over 10% of their total nations (165 between the two alliances) and Legion has only 15 in PM or just over 6% of their alliance. NSO alone has around the same percentage (just over 6%) in PM as Legion, and Tetris has 24% in PM. Since VE is not coming in, Legion will most likely win this war despite all the claims to their paper tiger status. All the numbers indicate that Tetris is getting hit hard and this beating will only most likely get worse as the war progresses. So, yes, I would currently say that Legion is winning this war. We shall see tomorrow what kind of damage Tetris/NSO has done to Legion and how much Legion has done to Tetris/NSO as well. But as of today, Legion is winning.
