Current UED war planned

Now I don't have screen shots or I would post, but I would bet anything it was planned, follow my thought does it make seance to you?

It's well known that UED was not well liked. They had no treaties other than the Mafia, and even the Mafia wasn't considered a threat. Had the Mafia joined in it would have given VE a reason to get involved and it would have been a great tech raid for the both of them.

DL was also Rag who was an ex member of government for WF. creates another nation and joins UED sending out attack messages, 4 or 5 nations jump on board with the attacks, which would not be out of the ordinary for any alliance, especially with the size of the nations who attacked, this provided WF the reason they needed for war, but they had to approach this so it didn't come back to bite them or VE. They went to KDII hoping to find a confused leader or find him inactive, neither were the case, he was prompt with offering up the rouges to attack, this didn't sit well with VE, so they fabricated the SS with Raj's rouge account, this was all that they needed to start the war. They jumped into war and loved the praises they were getting so the war continued, when the Mafia dropped all it changed was how/why VE would join. If the tide had not turned, I bet money that you would be seeing VE attack at update tonight

Okay, I get it. WF's war against UED makes you very unhappy. So, are you going to do something or just hope NSO will ride in and save the day?

I am disappointed that people bear these kinds of attitudes.

I find not caring about two bad alliances going at each other to be much more preferable that being some moralist who is too timid to stand for his morals.

Actually, I think your going a bit too far in your reasoning... I think the blame lays solely on Rajistani here, Rajistani is known for these things anyways; he was the one to plan the little coup attempt on UINE, also he approached me last week intent on creating an alliance protected by someone I hated and artifiicially causing a reason for war. Both times (and in this case) he stated that it was nothing personal and that he just wanted to see war to relieve his boredom.

In light of all these devolopments and Rajistani's history I don't think VE engineered this. However, I think they should have gone for the diplomatic approach instead of flexing their muscles at The Mafia. In my opinion that was rather imature and wasn't the kind of behaviour I've come to expect or enjoy from VE, an alliance I have great respect for.

To address the OP, no, this wasn't planned by anyone, sorry. I learned that UED members attacked wF members the same way everyone else did, through LRA's post. While we did offer our assistance to wF in any scope of the matter, and helped to advise them through it (they were, up until recently our protectorate and have never done the level of heated diplomacy that typically precedes either a war or a possibility of war, and we would not leave them hanging), this was in no way something that anyone in World Federation (other than Rajistani) had a hand in planning. To expect that from there, that VE had a hand in it, would be an incredible stretch, and one that is just not true.

To address Keve, yes I will freely admit that myself and others in my alliance were immature in how we posted last night. I guess the emotional high of seeing our friends in wF ride to war really got our juices flowing, and we engaged in a lot of grandstanding that I am not proud of looking back, especially in light of today's information.

Why would I foolishly hope for something like that to happen, when everyone knows NSO is an opportunistic, immoral alliance?

In what way am I too timid to stand by my own morals? And at least I have morals, unlike some.

Even the best make mistakes, the situation has been resolved and thats the only important thing here.

You wound me sir.

So I take it you're just going to continue to talk about how somebody else ought to do something? Alright, gotcha. Thanks

When did I ever specifically say that somebody else should do something? The most I've said is that NSO should do something, which IMO is a logical thing to assume, given this was a very unjustified war, and the Moldavi doctrine dictates that NSO intervene in precisely these types of conflicts, and that you've had past opportunities to do so, and never seem to take them.

So I will continue to say that, until your doctrine is removed or you actually do something worth a damn.

Take the plot one step further, UED is going to find an even better target for VE, and VE is going to use UED to make a valid CB.

UED didnt want to do this for free, and people would have noticed any payment made to UED for their services.

VE then makes a fake war so UED can be paid under the guise of "rep payments"

Translation: I have no evidence to prove any of this and I'm just gonna start rambling on about things I made up.

And no, it does not make seance to me... I don't even have an Ouija board

Have you read the Moldavi Doctrine? Just curious, because nowhere in there does it state that we are obligated to do anything. We have the option, as do you and everyone else to get involved if you see it fit.

Little far-fetched for my tastes, you could possibly make a non-existing link and claim this all whilst photo shopping a message of someone in VE agreeing with you. Hey, cant say people have not fell for that before. (Referring to the photo shopping of a message and a non-existing link part for clarity) :awesome:

I am glad that reason has prevailed.

And, as I was saying when I first caught wind of this, "Diplomacy, ftw."

Haven't we been over this. Yes, I realise that you are not obligated to do anything, but as I and others have said time and time again, you made such a big fuss over it, you are the only alliance to post such a doctrine, and yet you have not used it once. I don't know about you, but to me it seems like the entire thing is just a sham.
