FreedomvilleAT Posted January 24, 2009 Report Share Posted January 24, 2009 (edited) I've come to the forums for the last time as leader of NAAW. As all of you know, NAAW got into a war with TPF. There were spies involved, lies, betrayal and just a whole lot of drama. I have to say that I misjudged BurningGlory and TPF. I wanted war and I wanted it bad so I planned my war against TPF and told all of the wrong people. My plan was soon discovered and foiled. My best friend in my alliance sold me out and I was left with over 80 ghosting nations and alliances piling up to attack me. I went to BG on IRC not too long ago about the fact that he had a spy and soon discovered ON MY OWN who the spy was. I pieced everything together and realized that some of the things I did to create the war were wrong. BG DID help my alliance in the past and it was stupid of me to go against him. I'm not doing this to run away from war. I know when to admit that I am wrong and I know when to step down when I have grown tired of a game. So right now I am doing both of these things. First Action: I am sorry to TPF and all allied alliances. Burning Glory Posted January 24, 2009 Report Share Posted January 24, 2009 (edited) FV and I have talked.....She has admitted that she wrong me and TPF and this shows that great honor to admit your wrong. I never wanted war with NAAW but when i discovered a plot against TPF I was left with no choice. Even with what I knew i still didn't want to curb stomp her AA so i thought to be fair WAPA with a smaller number of nations would DOW, and we would back them if any AA tried to attack them. FV has renewed my faith in her and NAAW, and let me make it clear that she didn't do this to get out of war, because she didn't! She realized that she made a mistake as every one does, and this takes a lot of pride swallowing to post this in public and i thank her for that! AS of this post time TPF will be with drawing from the war and sending word to WAPA to stand down as well. I am sorry to hear about all that has taken place but I am happy to hear that you guys have worked things out. FreedomvilleAT's apology was more than compelling and all that will read it will know it came from the heart. I commend her actions and believe her intentions although misguided, were honorable and were meant for what was best for their alliance. In this game it is very hard to keep personal feelings separate from what is best for your alliance. Admitting you made a mistake and apologizing for it makes her actions honorable. I hope you guys take the next step and renew friendships. It is only a game, friends can last a lifetime. Openly telling her to not make TPF a target again once she realized that she fell into your spy trap, smooth move. That was what i was trying to get from you all along, and she succeeded where I couldnt. That was my first thought when she had told me that she found out from BG, and it turns out to be right. So FV, <3 forever, and Burning Glory... you'll get everything you deserve. I think if you play with that side you would have far more friends and a greater respect from people than you know, after all you have manged to lift my spirit about you and posting this apology shows your better character. I don't wish You, NAAW, or sethy any harm....I never did! I simply would like to play the game in peace with out harassment or degrading comments that started from BOB weeks ago and ended us up here today. BG.
