Heisman Watch
Sam Bradford's injury effectively knocks him out of Heisman contention. Tim Tebow may be the best college football player in the world but Urban Meyer isnt going to have him throwing when the Gators are up by 60 points, which showed as Tebow only threw 15 passes against Charleston Southern. Olympic sprinters/ running backs Chris Rainey and Jeffrey Demps are to good for Tebow to be able to throw 30 times.
Right now Colt McCoy is the front runner. He does the bulk of the work in the Texas offense with 29 attempts and 300 plus yards.
My two dark horse picks are BYU Quarterback Max Hall, who outdueled Sam Bradford on Saturday and Notre Dame Quarterback Jimmy Clausen, who threw for 300 plus yards and four touchdowns
