Well, I have never done one of these before, so I thought I would give it a go. At first I thought the idea of putting one of these up to be nonsense, having complete strangers read your musings, but then I remembered posting on forums is exactly that. I certainly have no plans for this blog; I may talk about CN, I may post recipes. I'll see how it goes.

So tomorrow is Valentines Day. As I have a real-life valentine, I should be happy and/or excited; however, my valentine is miles away tomorrow, and I'm at odds on how I feel about the holiday in general. I have always viewed it as a "hallmark holiday", a day set aside to spend lots of money to proclaim love when a nice surprise on any other day would be far more wonderful. Having said that, I am quite a fan of vintage valentines from the Victorian era. These valentines were hand-made, and a great deal of thought were put into them. Very nice.

Wonder if I will feel any different tomorrow having a valentine? I love him every day of the year, so my guess is I will feel the same as I would any other day.
