Akira is hands down the best anime ever. Ghost in the Shell is a close second.

It is one of the best animes i have watched. Although currently sitting as my all time favorite is Attack on Titan.

I read the manga, so I could never really get into the anime. Although it was good for me to read the manga rather than wait for the anime to come out. I also ended up picking up a book called Death Note: Another Note and read through it; and I don't read many books when I don't need to. It was about L taking on another criminal before the events in Death Note.

Ninja scroll was my favourite anime :/. Haven't watched any in forever

Light goes insane, kills L, uses his girlfriend up and then gets shot. The end. Its an OK anime.

Samurai Champloo is better.
