Why hasn't there been an alliance war in so long?

I've noticed the wars on CN have stopped since the Prototype-Armpit Platoon War of April 2013. I fear that a massive war, worse than the Equilibrium War, will occur when this stops. There is always a calm before the storm, and I fear that this is that calm.

Your thoughts?

What in Earth are you talking about?! The Prototype-Armpit Platoon War was one of the bloodiest war in CN history. It would take years before another major war like that to happen.

Bout time someone addressed this. Go ahead and fight already, this game gets boring when there aren't any wars.

Look. Alliances like to have warchests so they can rebuild. they also try to get a biiit more NS than they previously had. They then need to go through the political process of trying to isolate enemies if this isn't already done.

Boogeyman is right. The world is still in the recovery stages post-war and could not handle something else of its magnitude. It's too soon.

It's been 3-4 months since EQ ended how long is this supposed to take?

5+ months if you want a global war. Sometimes in the interim there are smaller, contained wars that don't chain out nearly as far. But the political game and solidifying a coalition takes time. I don't particularly agree with the "make sure our side is heavily superior" side of things, but if that's what it takes then we all play ball or nobody does.

Whatever needs to be done they need to hurry things up. This game is so dry right now, that if I was stupid enough I'd rogue GOONS again.

Good point indeed, though I bet there has been exceptions in the past. I have read up a lot in the global wars that CN has had, down to the very first war, the GATO-INC War. I wonder when there will be a war big enough to call Great War IV.

My guess is that it will involve over half of the nations in the game and it will end with the Hegemony being completely thrown out of whack. It will also see the biggest spike in Global Radiation ever.

Man, you're really good at predicting what everyone already knew.

Also, the Great Wars were the product of an era - not a note on how many nations or alliances were involved.

Also, my point was is that there hasn't been ANY Alliance vs Alliance wars since April. That is certainly odd.

Not really. People don't like missing out on the big dance.

How about you start one? You'd be remembered for something other than stupid posts.

I'm in absolutely no position to start one.

Get into one. Or stop complaining and learn your place. Hell, I almost went to war over something incredibly dumb and avoidable (not on my end, though), but I was making it very clear that I knew my place and that I wouldn't hold it against my allies if they didn't want to commit suicide with me.

War is hell.

There hasn't been a war since each alliance is wrapped in fear to make such move.

This is CyberNations lol. The worse that can happen is losing some infra, and if you are prepared economically this is managable. I don't understand what there is to be afraid of, yea building up your economy is all good but for me that's only so that I can be prepared for war.

Get into one.

If only I could.

Was it you or your whole alliance?
