Sanction Race

Holy cow MHA, nice half-point gain you got there today. But you're still 10 points behind us!

The Gremlins are less than a quarter-point behind GGA. There will be a pass there within two weeks.

Also, the New Polar Order will pass both GGA and TOOL by the end of the week. If not sooner.

I'm thinking of introducing a Challenge Line for WTF/RnR/TDE/Lgn/NADC. Just wanna see what happens with TDE's merger with XF first, as to whether to include them or not. 13.50 or fight, anyone?

-AiD-'s Public Denouncement of GATO Recruiters

Seriously, calm down. You should know by now that this stuff happens far from once-in-a-blue-moon. Certainly a gaffe on GATO's part, but an even poorer showing on your part. I've had recruiters do this before, and it's an embarassing thing to have to apologize for, but you should know by now that few alliances, especially established ones like GATO, are ever going to seriously start recruiting from within another alliance. If you got 10 messages, sure, I'd understand, but this seems to reek of an over-reaction designed to get you front-page headlines and make you look big and tough at the same time. And it might've done you some good, too, if only you hadn't come off looking like a two-bit two-week-old alliance run by newbs who wanted to feel important by posting in the same place as the big boys. Better luck next time.

The United Alliance Coupger

One illegal act deserves another. As I mentioned in that thread, I've always disliked the proclamation of mergers without a proper amendment which serves to disband the government and the alliance it runs. It's always seemed fishy to me, but I'm in the very small minority on this issue. That being said, UA (or the new government thereof) has also got to get it's act together - first, an announcement of a replacement in government, and then a story that changed to a future change in government once it had been formalized. I'll join the majority that calls this a coup. As well, I'm also unhappy with the response of MHA in sentencing three leaders from the United Alliance to ZI. Seems like an attempt to hastily react to the situation without attempting to address what caused it in the first place. A more thoughtful and level-headed approach would have looked better in my eyes.

The preceeding opinions are my own and constitute no official position of any government. Please don't roll us.
