Shine on, you crazy diamond. The only problem with this philosophy in CN (or RL, for that matter) is that you have to give a !@#$ at some point in order to build up/maintain the resources to keep the party going. It's a balancing act. But I will totally agree that most of us are waaaay too far on the side of saving up for a rainy day at the expense of missing out on day-to-day enjoyment.
