It's of course terrible. Not because of the whole arresting people without trial. Without a doubt that is terrible. But it in no way affects as many innocent and peaceful people as our current desire to intervene in the affairs of other people. Wherever we go, wherever we fight, we only bring pain and suffering to innocent people. It's high time we've STOPPED these wars and gotten out of the business of violating the sovereignty of other nations. If nations wish to live like animals I am perfectly inclined to let them.

And don't say "Well, if the US doesn't project its power onto the world, people will surely aggress against us. We need to show we are strong." that is an incredibly weak argument. No one believes we are weak. I'm almost certain we have enough nuclear weapons (we have 5000) to kill 99% of the world's population, probably numerous times over.

No one is going to attack us if we do not give them provocation.

This NDAA is an absolute disaster. It's also a bipartisan disaster.

It is good to see people from different sides of the aisle agreeing on something.

Thursday was the 220th birthday of the Bill of Rights; it was also the day at least 4 of those Rights were tossed in the mud.

In addition to the blatantly unconstitutional NDAA Congress is considering SOPA -- Stop Online Piracy Act -- a bill that would censor the net. Free speech in public will be a thing of the past.

The Dept. of Homeland Security refers to MIAC as a "fusion center" ( it assimilates and disseminates information to state and local agencies). What? Oh, you mean to Law Enforcement! Yep.

What did Missouri's "fusion center" tell local law enforcement in 2009?

Your an idiot if thats truly what you think. people do care for example check the polls (not this though it proves my point as well) many people have a hard time organizing or getting together to protest or complain. either that or they are too busy putting bread on the table, or going to school and studying so that they will be able to do so.

I now oppose him all out because of this i will vote or support for almost anyone else. not that i wasn't just about there already. he clearly doesnt know what he is doing. and he's busy screwing us all over. while taking more vacations than more presidents than i can remember. and disgracing our troops by taking credit from them. he did not order osama a top target. do your research he was already the #1 target, and they had leads on him before obama came. he just reaped the rewards of work done in bush's presidency. and then took all the credit, trying to push the troops who actually did the work away into the shadows just so he can look better.

sorry if i got carried away I'm usually in the left or in the middle but this guy has pushed me way to the right. though most leftists label the right as anything they dont like. one of the reasons i left.
