Admiration denied.

For to win one hundred victories in one hundred battles is not the acme of skill. To subdue the enemy without fighting is the acme of skill.-Sun Tsu

In the last conflict, I believe the the NPO had reached an accommodation with allies and would not enter.

Since military acumen I have always admired and Doomhouse had achieved that what the above quote mentions, I thought I would post a congratualation post.

Turned out to be harder than I imagined. Being on a different side of the treaty web and often critical of some of alliances in Doomhouse; being sincere without sounding condescending was difficult.

Finally I thought I had a post that was adequate and then Doomhouse preemptively strikes throwing the pinnacle of strategic and tactical victory

overboard for mere victory

Now they brag about a victory of bigger pixels when the other would have been a legend.

That makes no sense. Make sure that the sentence still makes sense after inserting 'big words.' Otherwise it just makes you sound stupid (which I assume is the opposite of what you're trying to achieve).

I do not see a clarification is necessary but there is an old saying,"he can't see the forest for the trees";therefore in case I am stuck in that mode.

I believe Doomhouse traded a superior victory for a lesser one.

Doomhouse doesn't care, they just want to make sure NPO stays down. If they didn't do it, no one would've. And you can bet NPO isn't giving anyone new reasons to attack. They didn't want to be attacked, they'd prefer to bide their time, gather allies, prepare, and do the attacking themselves.

Better to hit NPO now while victory is assured than to wait a year or two and hope the tides don't turn against you.

If I understand the gibberish he's saying correctly, start with the quote:

"To win one hundred victories in one hundred battles is not the acme of skill. To subdue the enemy without fighting is the acme of skill.-Sun Tsu"

From there, move onto the next part:

"In the last conflict, I believe the the NPO had reached an accommodation with allies and would not enter (which would have fulfilled the second sentence of the quote above)..." BUT

"... Doomhouse preemptively strikes throwing the pinnacle of strategic and tactical victory overboard for mere victory. Now they brag about a victory of bigger pixels when the other would have been a legend (countering the second sentence and "fulfilling" the first sentence."

Therefore, the conclusion of the OP seems to be an attempt to convey that DH in the DH-NPO war had already won without firing a single shot, BUT ruined their complete and skillful victory by attacking preemptively, leading to a less skillful victory.

The saying is "X can't see the wood for the trees."

So a duck walks into a bar and addresses the bartender:

Duck: "Got any bread?"

Bartender: "This is a bar. We don't serve ducks and we don't serve bread. Get out."

<a few minutes pass>

Duck: "Got any bread?"

Bartender: "I just told you 'no'. Get out of my bar!"

<a few minutes pass>

Duck: "Got any bread?"

Bartender: "I !@#$@#$ told you that I don't have any bread. Ask me again and I will !@#$@#$ well nail your bill to the goddamn wall!"

<a few seconds pass>

Duck: "Got any nails?"

Bartender: "No, I don't have any !@#$@#$ nails!"

Duck: "Got any bread?"
