Spying tech is excusable if there's literally nothing left to spy (intel, cash, nukes, what have you) and is much more productive than some things I could mention, which also appear here. I mean...spying CM's? Really? That costs you more than it costs them.

Based strictly on the ops targeted at me by Legion and NPO, you have well under half the destroy tech ops done during the war and that's assuming that I was the only target that you missed.

Almost wonder about the ones that werent caught on some of these.

@Locke, its 5 tech you spy away..1 cruise missile can get rid of that much, Although i did have a tech raid try 8 times to spy away my tech..never once targeted my nukes/defcon/etc

Spying CMs is one of the more "excusable" ones here, as it's the default option in the list. So if you go to click "Target weapons of mass destruction" and click just below it, you're left targeting CMs. It's still funny because it's easy to notice, but I doubt there are many people actually doing that op on purpose.

The situation I'm thinking of is "okay, finished all my attacks, what's left? Well, I can spy, what can I pick? Let's see, I've already nuked his warchest down, don't need intel or cash ops, he's got no nukes left, already do fine against his army and spys, no need for DEFCON or threat level (etc. through the rest of usual spy ops), hmm...well, I can spy his tech, I guess."

I'm not saying that's what's happening every time (I'm sure it isn't), but there are times in which the tech op isn't completely useless. If you've got the money and nothing better to do, it's better than letting the spy slots go unused.

I honestly don't even bother spying nukes any more. Money, Incite Govt Propaganda til successful, defcon if it will help. That's about it.

Threat level if you are really that bored....other then that theres alot of useless spyops
