Peace Mode stats

flak attack

Since I'm tired of having people try and nitpick stats and post deliberately misleading numbers relating to peace mode statistics, I put together a googledocs spreadsheet involving almost every alliance currently involved in the Doomhouse-NPO war. I elected not to include CnG because the alliances they are fighting have such an overwhelming portion of their ns at peace and CnG has such a small portion of their ns in peacemode that anyone claiming they are hiding some of their nations is, to put it bluntly, a moron and not worth my time. I also didn't post alliance like Sanitarium because they are too small for me to be bothered with.

That said, if there are any glaring mathematical errors, let me know and I'll fix them. I'm not going to rewrite the stats in a way that makes you happy and I'm not going to update this daily (and probably not even weekly). I'm also not going to gather any further stats unless something I have is wrong.

Thanks. My estimate of 50% MK ns in pm was pretty close to your figure of 48%. Take that guy that said 18% and other person who called my estimate ridiculous.

I still think the % NS in peacemode argument is flawed. Mostly in the fact that as time goes on, those in pm will make up a larger % of total NS on the losing side. An alliance could attack with 97% of its NS and 6-8 weeks of war later have 90% of their total NS in PM, without a single nation changing to pm besides the few that sat at the start.

True, but our HIGHEST % of NS in peace mode is still lower than your LOWEST % of NS in peace mode.

Technical victory for you, argumentative victory for me.

Banksy (the other guy IIRC), estimated all of DH at 18%, not MK.

It's more interesting to me that even with the tremendous losses the Hopeless Coalition has endured, they still total only 3 million less NS than Doomhouse/Allies combined. I can only imagine how crazy this war would be if it were actually being fought. It would be glorious.

As much as I would like to think that, the total NS of DoomHouse and friends is somewhere around 56 million. I don't feel like adding up all the various alliances myself right now, but it is on the wiki if anyone is interested.

I guess I'm not counting CnG.

I'd love to see this include separate stats for how much of DH-CnG is actually at war (i.e engaged in one or more wars). I don't know how difficult those stats would be to come by, though.

The elephant in the room for NPO and Co is that legion has 97% of their NS in peace mode. You wonder why people refer to them as a paper tiger.

I don't know why anyone would think that. It is not as if they ignored their MDoAP partner getting hit this war, and activated it for another MDoAP partner but kept, as you say, 97% of their NS in peace mode. They ride and die with their allies, I am jealous of those who call them partners.

I do feel that I should congratulate Legion on their recent accomplishment. The previous time an MK member had done a stats run, they were above 97% of their ns in war mode, so congrats Legion. At this rate, you might have a majority of your ns in war mode by the end of the century.

This is true, but it also serves to show how long the average peace moder has been in peace mode and why. Most of our people in peace mode entered it at some point recently and have already fought in this war, while most of yours haven't.

Fighting in the open during an ambush isn't very productive all that often.

oh don't even bother.

94.5% of Nordreich nations are not in peace mode. With 119 individual battles currently being fought, we have an average war-per-member count of 0.66. If the NPO's high-end nations were to come out, I would expect that number to rise to 2 or more in a very short time.

Yay! Fun with numbers!

The irony :)

Oh, one more thing I should note. NPO's numbers are deflated (more of their alliance is in peace mode than is reflected) because I noticed several of their nations hanging out on other AA's (Triyun on TOP, for example), but didn't bother adjusting the stats to reflect that.

It is interesting that Umbrella makes up almost 50% of DH's total ns.

More interesting is that they are completely irrelevant right now with their big nations.

Triyun's not just hanging out on TOP, he's a member.
