I was asking for 30,000 in technology in reparations from any source DT could get it. Legacy agreed to accept 20,000 and 10,000 was to be sent to The Commonwealth. This was met with threats from DT for an expanded war. DT optionally entered into war with The Commonwealth and her allies. There are consequences for optionally going to war with people, and those consequences should be expected when you enter a war with no obligation to do so. Their great loyalty to LoSS had them come asking for peace with us after a week of war, with no consideration for whether LoSS got peace or not.

Throughout the peace process I've consistently lowered the amount and severity of the reparations demanded only to have DT lower their offer again and again. They've made a concerted effort to smear me and The Commonwealth to the world with half-truths and lies. They've sent messages to our membership urging them to revolt against the government. They've offered their ally's declaration on NPO (unasked for and unwanted by The Commonwealth) in return for peace. They've threatened us and our allies with escalation by allies that have agreed to not re-enter the conflict and those as yet uninvolved. They've been underhanded and dishonest throughout the entire peace process. This is why I am demanding reparations and will continue to do so.

I am done backing down. I am done being threatened. I am done negotiating. I am done being fair and reasonable to those that would not return the kindness. If you wish to escalate things, do it and watch your alliances burn to the ground. If you want to smear me, it has been done. If you want your allies to declare war on NPO, I don't care if they do or not. The Commonwealth stands.

The terms stand at 30,000 technology paid by DT nations paid to the combined nations of Legacy and The Commonwealth. During the period that DT is paying reparations they will not carry standing navies or nuclear arsenals. No more negotiating. No more middle-men. No more anything. Surrender or burn.

Right, the first 40k split offer was all to us. Then you guys asked Sarm for the 20k to Legacy deal, in which he responded (with Goose's agreement) with 20k to Legacy, 10k to CSN. It's all right here:

You gave out logs and hid nothing, but you presented it falsely.

It was a random ghost nation. We don't know, it could've been a multi of one of yours, or someone you know. Don't know, don't care. Our members were messaged to revolt against our Government, that's a fact.

Its pretty much a perspective thing you need to read it and understand the perspective. Just as goose has put his perspective up here, DT placed theirs in that thread. CSN is not totally with out blame here just as DT is not. Both sides have been reactionary to a point, I will continue to defend DT because i still find this outrageous on CSNs part, and I think the beginning of negotiations were handled extremely poorly. To Clarify Liz did not demand 2k and above but simply put that out as a possible method to conclude things as she and I talked about how to possibly bring this to a close.

No sense complaining about all this when you guys didn't have any obligation to be hitting LoSS in the first place either. Looks like you're both dealing with the consequences, as it should be.

The problem with the terms you offer, is that we simply don't believe these offers are genuine. We accepted terms proposed by DT, and DT withdrew the terms. We have no real reason to accept any offer DT makes at this point.

Have we walked away from the table or dropped F Bombs? No. As I've been stating our door to talks have been open. We have presented CSN with various terms.

It's like leaving a voice mail message and waiting for someone to respond when they get home.

We didn't enter into war with CSN. We declared on Legacy, in defense of LoSS which we hold an ODP with. Legacy was declared on LoSS which is a valid target via treaty obligations available. CSN declared on us.

We accepted one of those terms. The terms were withdrawn after we accepted. The $%&@ off and refusing to talk are responses to that. You can offer us whatever you like, but we do not believe that a single offer you have made is genuine. You can either find a way to convince us you're making a genuine offer (I have no idea how you could do this, but its conceivable), or you can accept an offer we make. Throwing more offers that we don't expect you to actually sign is irrelevant.

Also, you might want to drop the whole 'we attacked Legacy not CSN' talking point, its one of the sources of our grievance with you, just makes us mad and less willing to talk.

You have offered 40k split (which was accepted the next day) and white peace and an apology. Am I missing any?

I believe the terms were withdrawn the moment Goose left the talks with the intent of refusing it. Really it's not that hard to comprehend.

You declared war on Legacy, we have a Mutual Defense and Optional Attack Pact with Legacy, what part of our counter deceleration on the Dark Templar is optional?

We don't believe you. IE, we think you're a filthy liar that's going to take the offer off the table the second we accept. Find a way to convince us, or accept the offer we made. In the meantime, have a nice day, I'm done talking to you.

Look at page 1 of this blog to my post and it will show you the various offers that have been presented by Bud to CSN.

First:

20k tech to Legacy, All peace out and go their way.

Second:

10k tech to CSN from any source, 10k to Legacy purchased and sent from DT and any source.

That? Umm... The first offer we laid out a counter to, which was denied. (You made this offer)

The second was an unofficial question that was asked, which Bud forwarded to you. (We pondered this offer)

So please, point me out to any set of multiple official offers we were given.

When you used it in support of Legacy since it was a non-chaining treaty. Legacy declared war off another treaty, which makes your treaty optional.

I don't know what you mean with the voice mail reference. If you mean Sarm, he's the leader of Legacy and has every right to be talking with you.

If you'd check the OP, we decided that is the route we'll be taking.
