I finally got around to buying a cheap graphics tablet today and I have been having a bit of a fiddle around with it to get used to it and I am very impressed, it makes drawing on the computer a lot more like drawing with the conventional pencil, paper and ink that I am used to. For the moment I am using photoshop CS3 since it came bundled with the tablet, but if anyone knows of a better program please leave a comment.

I always liked to use Adobe Illustrator with it, mainly because my addiction to coffee and not being able to keep my hand still enough.

Be sure to get the batteries out of the pen when not using, !@#$ eats batteries like crazy.

I didn't know that there were tablet stylusses (styli?) that needed batteries. What brand is that?

Also to the OP: I've always found Open Canvas to be pretty fun to use with a tablet.
