Progress in the war against NEW

That is NEW's alliance graph.

NEW has 69 nations out of 158 in peace mode. Roughly half the alliance is in anarchy, presumably largely due to nukes.

However it is clear they are not getting mauled.

Meanwhile, FEAR and UFF, the alliances who entered to defend them officially, are getting destroyed.

Much as I hate to admit it, at this point it seems clear that the deal PC and iFOK made was sufficient for their ally to win this war. The alliances of International, TPE and Fark do not have the necessary firepower and coordination to bring down NEW.

NEW's going to get the white peace they want. It will probably take a long time and there will be a lot of damage on both sides, but they'll achieve their mission objectives, and they don't care about damage anyway.

Meanwhile FEAR, WFF and Europa continue to be the punching bags of ODN and Sparta.

FEAR and WFF - Get out. Your ally doesn't need you. They're going to win. If your members want to fight for NEW, let them do the same thing as a lot of Poison Clan members are doing, and let them join NEW for the duration of the war.

I laughed at the graph. That's the first time I've seen the NS graph go up AFTER being curbstomped.

True about the ghosts, etc. Anyone who actually thinks that war made NEW stronger is retarded. Ghosting an alliance to fight for them has been a war 'tactic' for quite a while now, but this is the first time I've seen it happen that much.

Fark has 14 nations at 100K NS or higher. NEW currently has nine. Yes, the advantage is on Fark's side, but you certainly wouldn't need 10M NS more to level the playing field.

Look at it from another perspective. Fark has 1 nation over 150K NS or higher (the other one's in peace). NEW has 5 nations over 150K NS or higher. Those 5 nations are really going to hurt the 14 nations at 100K NS or higher.

Numbers are on FARK's side though. Those 150k nations won't be 150k for long with full war slots for however long this war goes, in fact, the longer the war goes, the easier for FARK it will be, it's only in the short term that they'll face significant damages.

The longer this war goes on, the tougher it gets.

Eventually, you're right, those huge nations will get pulled down into the range of smaller nations. At which point they will lay waste to all comers.

This is what happens when oversized nations become undersized.

And it will take some time. Here's a link to Z3's graph. http://www.cybernations.net/nation_drill_display_charts.asp?Nation_ID=125419

He's got five full war slots, since the 21st. He's not taking nearly as much damage as he should be. I suspect a lack of coordination is in play.

Incidentally also, NEW passed the 6 million NS mark a couple days ago. They have since actually dropped for the last two days, but are still over 6M.
