Update: Another Friday Night Fail

I was leaving a bar Friday night after last call with a bunch of people. One of the people with us was this gorgeous guy. He was some yards away talking with some people when I leaned over to one of my friends and started gushing over him. I thought I was out of audible range. I thought wrong. The girl I was talking about him to made me aware that he was looking over at us and I realized he had heard what I said, pretty much every word. He said something to me, but I don't recall what (my naturally bad memory is even worse when alcohol is involved). Luckily he was smiling/laughing when he was saying...whatever he said. I then proceeded to scurry away. Super. Awkward.

Newsflash: Guys like it when they hear things like that, even if they don't think you're attractive. If he didn't then there's nothing lost, if he did you just ruined a potential Something with a gorgeous guy. I'm not trying to be mean, but seriously, show some backbone about it and you'll have better luck.

The thing is he (presumably) is straight. Even if I'm wrong and he actually is gay, I at least put myself on his radar, so I don't really think I lost either way.

Dude, I am straight, but I still like it when gays are checking me out. I even flirt back, because it makes me feel desirable. If you put yourself on his radar, good for you. And good luck next friday night out!
